Had an excellent meal + evening.Staff pleasant and helpful. However being elderly I found it difficult to book and my wife felt a handle on the wall of the ladies toilet would be most beneficial.However apart from these two minor issues we had a memorable evening. Dr Michael Hooper.

Really delicious food, well presented and great service. Nico's is a smashing wee spot. The food is high quality with fresh local ingredients treated with care by the skilful kitchen: the delicate sauce with the monkfish was delicious! There's a good range of choice on the menu and the vibe is friendly and very welcoming. You're sure of an enjoyable evening with great food if you visit here.

Very enjoyable evening, friendly and efficient service, inner patio comfortable, starters and mains all very good, lemon mousse was nice but we thought the brownie was disappointing, not moist or chocolatey enough. Overall though a lovely dinner and we will be very happy to come again!

We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. One unfortunate aspect was the fact that the very nice oval table at the front indoor section of the restaurant which our party of 6 enjoyed was subjected to an unpleasant cross draught, as both the outside door and another interior door to another part of restaurant (possibly upstairs or bathroom ?)were both left open together. I requested the door to be closed and that was done but it was subsequently reopened. The draught was uncomfortable and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal and ambience. We will be back though. Food was great.

We have eaten here on a number of previous occasions over the last few years and always enjoy it. The food is very good and whilst we don't mind sitting out when the weather is good we would have preferred to eat inside as it was a cool evening but had understood that only outside dining was possible. We were therefore a little surprised to find that the inside dining room was being opened and guests let in as we left! Will certainly come back when we are next in Schull.
