Having found the Rashleigh Inn by chance a couple of months ago we have now visited several times and thoroughly enjoy each visit.
Not only is it in a fabulous location, right on the beach in a small cove, but the food and atmosphere are always excellent, and Dan and his staff could not be more welcoming and friendly.
We would definitely recommend the Rashleigh to anyone looking for a quintessential Cornish inn offering excellent food, a good choice of drinks, excellent service and fantastic sea views.

Very limited menu no salads, no new potatoes no vegetarian options. The waitress was very nice and did her best. If I'd read the menu before booking I would have not booked! We were a bit cramped sitting at the window and room was cold.

We haven’t been out for a meal for ages - covid and health concerns etc. Decided to try the Rashleigh Inn. Have been before but not for several years although we are local. Husband is on a restricted diet but he found something he could have so it was all good. I had fancied a steak but chose the steak sandwich instead. Service was good, food was good and the window seat was appreciated.

I was very impressed with the young lady waiting on the table. She had a lovely personality, attentive to the needs of us in group (even my 7 month young Grand-daughter). Atmosphere was relaxing but did struggle a bit to read menu under dim lighting ( I should have remembered to take my glasses out of the car). One of my Daughter-in-laws who I was dining with read it out to me

We had a great dinner at The Rashleigh Inn - delicious and plenty of it! It is an interesting place, the trouble was, being winter, it was practically deserted. I'm sure the place is buzzing during the summer. Our table was in the window, overlooking the beach, which would have been a lovely view if it hadn't been dark. We wanted to experience it so went back for coffee the following morning. It didn't disappoint.

Ate outside with 2 young children. Beautiful day helps. Straightforward menu, food very well cooked and presented .and you won't leave hungry! Burgers served medium rare. Complicated order delivered spot on, no salad where requested etc. Efficient service from young staff early in the season. They know what they're doing!

The pub is friendly, lovely location and gives a cosy feeling. The menu choice was not extensive , however I think sometimes it’s better for a smaller menu done well , which it provides. I also liked the fact we were told “before” ordering that something is limited or run out. Only lost marks as felt the lamb I had could have had a few vegetables or salad but a minor point . Staff are delightful

Lovely people, lovely service, super cosy and great atmosphere. Could expand vegan options so simply, with a tasty stir fry or Moroccan bean stew or sweet potatoes and chick pea curry for example, so easy to cook and freeze. Most vegans prefer not to have "meat" alternative eg chicken burger, but it was tasty and we had a great time thankyou.

We have been coming to The Rashleigh for over 40 years, and delighted to find that at long last (since the days of Jim Prentice) the food etc. is as good as the setting. No longer a yard long menu of basically average pub staples, but proper cooking and a new feel to it all. Will definitely be back soon...

A favourite of ours because of the location. The staff were lovely as was Mimi the cat. The filthy, loud language from some bar customers was off putting but fortunately they eventually left.
The menu and quality of the food was disappointing.
Great for a drink or a lunchtime snack and usually an excellent atmosphere.
We will return but not for an evening meal.

We had cod and chips for want of a better choice and although the fish was cooked well and tasty we had a plate full of chips. Half the amount of chips would have been far more appropriate for the fish served. I might add, the chips were excellent, and it was a great shame to waste them. Waiter should ask the customer if they would like medium or large portion of chips to reduce waste.

This pub is in a wonderful location and the ambience is great, cost fire, good decor etc. The only let down was the food, solid, microwaved bread is not acceptable and most of what we had was freezer to fryer type fare. My husband did say his Buffalo Wings were the best he’s had so that was good.

The Rashleigh is an old haunt of mine and very nice. This time the food menu seemed very cut down and the service was slow. They were nice though and is was quite empty, so great for Covid safety

Ridiculously limited menu, 3 burgers, tacos, a salad and fish and chips. I know it’s winter but not good. Been many times - never that poor. Hope it’s a one off because it’s one of our favourite spots
