Fantastic food and service - nothing was too much trouble- even splitting the starter which they automatically served on 2 plates. The main course of cod was delicious and I would highly recommend this dish.

Waitress had to work under undue pressure due to kitchen delays and other customers were bullying in nature.
Staff all very helpful and friendly.
Food okay/good flavours well matched.
if set menu needs some specials dishes in addition.
Then great cocktail bar later to finish the evening.

A great venue, smart, and well appointed. Very friendly and attentive staff, good menu and excellent food at the right price. The only downside was that being an early reservation mid week it was a tad quiet!

We didn’t like the table we were seated at in the back corner facing the wall but it was no problem getting this changed. Nut roast Sunday lunch was really good as usual. Lemon and blueberry cake was amazing. It would be nice to have more than one piece of roast carrot and parsnip. Or offer extra as a side dish? Please buy some espresso cups - the coffee tasted lovely but came in a teacup. The ladies toilets were very cold. The toilet roll holder was broken and the toilet seat was hanging off. But we’ll be back as we did enjoy the food. Looking forward to being there on a warmer day as the room was quite cold. Some staff are obviously inexperienced but are trying hard and getting there.

Ambiance was very good and the service was excellent but we were a little disappointed with the food (salmon and chips somewhat dry) however my husband had the cod which he said was very good
