I went for lunch with two friends who were visiting from out of town. The owner waited on us. He was very attentive and encouraged us to try appetizers, dessert, and espresso before and after our meal. All of our food was delicious. I am looking forward to returning for more wonderful food and excellent service!

It was our first time dining at Cibi. My family and I had heard wonderful things about Matteo, the owner and executive chef, so we were very excited to be finally eating at his restaurant. I grew up in Italy, so I'd like to think that I know when the food is authentic Italian or not. Cibi went beyond my expectations. The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh. When you scan through the menu, you can immediately tell that this is not your ordinary "Italian" restaurant. The pastas are made fresh daily while the sauces are typical of the Italian Northern region where Matteo is from. Each course is served elegantly on a nice copper pot. As an appetizer, my family and I had the polpette di carne and panzerotto. These are not your typical meat balls. They came served on a ragú sauce that my daughter cleaned up ("scarpetta") with the freshly, baked focaccia. The panzerotti (little calzone filled with mozzarella and tomato sauce) were served with prosciutto cotto which was a great pairing.
The service was impeccable; The waitress and the manager were very helpful and charismatic. You can tell they both enjoy working there. The highlight was when Matteo stopped by at our table to talk to us. He is such a wonderful host and we enjoy meeting him. We will definitely be back.
The only cons: I was hoping to have my Negroni, but unfortunately Cibi doesn't have a full bar. With that said, their wine selection is pretty good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was out fort time eating here. We pulled up and it is located in a strip shopping center. Once you walk in, though, you’re transported to a small Southern Italian cafe. Very cute decor, nice music and wonderful smells. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we ordered was fantastic. We did t have room for dessert this trip, but we’ve already planned on returning. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this restaurant.

Everything was good, the food was delicious and the service was excellent! However, when 2 glasses of wine cost more than your entree...... I buy many good Italian wines at very reasonable prices. My suggestion would be to offer a more reasonable option for those who are not wine connoisseurs and would like to enjoy that second glass. Also some fresh Italian bread with some olive oil before dinner would have been nice. Overall a good experience, will be back.

great place….we will be back with friends. This is a nice place with great waiters, owners that walk around talking with guests, true Italian food, fun menu to explore (waiters help with menu choices), good Italian wine list, good paced diner without feeling rushed to turn the tables.
I wish fellow guests would use this place as a nice dining experience- dress the part. If you are wearing a baseball hat with t-shirt, maybe eat across the street at Railhead BBQ.

But, for that lunch price, a small salad and exceptional bread should be included...keep the salad size small and 1 piece of bread to the lunch and I would have been 100% with the price. Desserts were exquisitely served and delicious, but $9 was a bit much. I will probably return for special occasion, but not often. $65 for 2 lunch entrees and 2 desserts, 2 teas was too much $.
