Frequently Asked Questions- Are dogs allowed?
- Only service animals are allowed inside, per the health department. On nice weather days we may have some limited outdoor seating setup where dogs are allowed, but we do not have a permanent patio area at this time.
- Are you kid-friendly?
- We are very kid-friendly! We have highchairs, kid's menus, changing tables in both bathrooms, and games for both kids and adults to enjoy.
- Do you host live music or other events?
- We do not have live music, but we have Open Mic Comedy on Tuesday nights @ 8pm and Trivia on Wednesday nights @ 7pm. We also have monthly Family Yoga, Beer Yoga, and Drag Show events. Check the website for up-to-date details!

Our waitress was rude. She would not give us the extra chair for our table that the hostess already told us we could have. She raised her voice when we tried to take one from a nearby table. She misheard us order "pickles" instead of "pretzels." When she brought the pickles, we told her we would pay for them, but we also wanted pretzels. She told us at least three times that we were wrong and ordered pickles. At the end, we split the tab and she had overcharged one of us for the entire bill instead of just one portion. She fixed it but was unpleasant about it. Overall, she seemed stressed with her table load and unhappy about working.

We enjoyed our visit, we will be back. Loved the jailhouse burger, but would like different choice of sides, possibly the Pita bread, pretzel bites, or bag of lays. The chips were hard and the salad tasted funny. The hummus was excellent. The server was superb, very helpful for our first visit, explained the different beers. We liked the pickel beer the best of the 6 we tasted.

So Happy to see Funky Picnic back on track in the Covid19 environment!
Staff, Environment and Food was excellent...Love the Reuben Studdard! Always a good selection of Craft beer choices! The New No Shirt No Shoes Four Cats Pale Ale was awesome!
Their checkout/payment process is touchless also which makes it super easy!

This was my first trip to Funky Picnic since pre-Covid times, so quite a bit has changed. The changes seem for the better - it was good before, and even better now. This reservation was for a work department happy hour - service and appetizers were great and were handled with relative ease. Everyone had a great time. My family of 7 enjoyed our first time here quite a lot. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and professionally appropriate and the support staff helpful. We are finding many great establishments in Fort Worth that no longer appear to provide "service training" to their staff- the staff doesn't seem to understand their role or does not anticipate patron's needs, and it's quite disappointing. NOT SO here! We enjoyed ourselves a lot and will return!

Great service and beer! I made a reservation online about 30 minutes before I arrived and inserted a comment that my party was hoping to watch the NHL playoffs. When I showed up they have a table reserved for us in front of a projector with the game on. I was very impressed. We were also able to settle our tabs through our phone. This was very convenient and covid friendly. Highly recommend getting the "Two Peanut Butters, One Cup" Stout dressed with graham cracker rim and toasted marshmallow, what a treat!

Our hamburgers were like hockey pucks. Our sandwiches were missing ingredients. The ingredients were so sparse on the hamburgers. When there are so many great hamburger places to eat in town good beer isn’t enough to make us want to come back.

My coworkers & I planned a Going-Away-Celebration for a coworker at Funky Picnic. The staff at FP was very helpful from helping set aside a space to the day-of service. Not to mention that everything was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the Home Sweet Avocado, TABC, Dr. Pepper BBQ wings, pickles spears among other). It was the perfect end to his time with us. The 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The parking was a plus. Funky Picnic is not a typical Ladies who Lunch place but was friendly and interesting. I think we would have enjoyed some info and background available at the table. Many stars!!!
