Went because it was highly recommended by friends. Now I’m passing on the recommendation. I had the brunch Thai Chicken and Waffle and it was amazing. Savory, sweet, and a hint of spice. Wife had the Sweet and Sour Crispy noodles and we finished with the Mango Sticky rice. All of it was fresh and delicious. Service was stellar and the atmosphere is great. Definitely going again.

Malai Kitchen was a great experience, all around. We were seated on time, and our server was very knowledgeable of the wine menu and made everything about ordering our meals very easy. Sat at the bar on Mother’s Day instead of waiting for our reservation. Robbie was our server and was phenomenal. He was very attentive even with a full bar. My girlfriends and I had our first experience at Malai Kitchen-Fort Worth to celebrate my birthday. They were coming from Dallas, Las Colinas, and Cedar Hill and could not stop raving on how the travel was well worth it. The food was spectacular, from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We have nothing to complain about! The service was exemplary, the team worked in unison across all tables and seemed to enjoy their work, and the food and drinks were all delicious. It was a date night! It was the first time we had been there and we enjoyed every minute of it. The Staff was so warm and welcoming. The food was amaznig!! We will be going back!!

The staff was very friendly, loved our waiter. The appetizer, we ordered the vegetable samosas, were a disappointment. They were full of corn and hardly any other vegetable and had been fried too long so they were hard. Lots of pastry not enough veggies.

The staff was nice but not going above and beyond, which is okay but you don't get a 10 unless we're impressed with service. We did have a long lag in between finishing dinner and receiving the check, and had to call out to our waitress who came in the room and checked on ONE table (she had 3) and then turned around nonchalantly to leave the room again. You've got to teach your people grouping, checking each and every table briefly before going back so you can get multiple things for multiple tables all at once instead of running back an forth from the kitchen and server station, making the most of your time and maximizing efficiency. Food was pretty good, the massaman was a bit heavy on the lamb, lacking the usual sweetness. Chicken in the children's fried rice was also hard to chew. But besides all that we had a good time.

I reserved a table for 8 a week in advance for 6:30. The sun was so bright the entire dinner several had to wear sun glasses just to talk to those across the table. Strongly recommend you invest in shades to make it a more enjoyable experience. The food was exceptional.

We have never had a bad meal or experience At Malai in five years! It's so hard not to order our favorites, Pad Thai, pork tacos or sea bass every time! The only negative is that the booth upholstery is cracked & showing wear. It is uncomfortable to sit on.
