Great food, great teamwork. Many of us have experienced an employee saying “I’ll tell your server” instead of “I’ll bring you silverware”. There was none of that going on here. At least 4 different employees brought food or drinks or water or just checked on us.

There were 4 of us girls from work who went for my birthday! I love this place & so did everyone else. I especially love the layout & atmosphere! Doesn't feel squished & our waitress was excellent. Very professional & knew how to handle a table which you don't see that often anymore. Not sure of her name but she's a keeper!

Our server was excellent and very thorough with explaining the dishes. I hadn’t been to this location before and it is lovely inside. I got lots of food and even enjoyed some at home the next day. Their menu is full of different delicious items. The bar area looks lovely and I will definitely go back even just to enjoy a cocktail.

It’s one of our most favorite restaurants. We used to visit TX a few times a year and always made sure we got to Malai, but we’ve moved recently and now get to eat it as often as we like. The bonus is table 5 on the patio, the perfect spot for us with our mini doodle, he loves it too! We’ll be back on Sunday for a birthday celebration

I love this place for nice casual dining. Have been going to the other location for years. Now this one has opened up near me and I'm thrilled. Love the Burmese Green Tea Salad, Vietnamese Meatballs, Panang Curry Bowl, Thai Coconut Soup, Coconut Pie and Banana Pot de Creme. Grateful for all the Gluten Free options.

My wife and I go to brunch almost every week. This was our first time to visit this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was great, the service very prompt and the ambiance pleasant. Over half the time we try new restaurants they are mediocre, and we return to our old stand bys. We will definitely be returning to Malai and try different offerings on their menu. GaryG

We love the inclosed porch with the big fireplace. All of the appetizers are delish. The curries and seafood are excellent. The service is quick and efficient. We had a large group and it was a great place to celebrate.

Every staff person was beyond excellent and helpful. We chose to sit in the patio, which had less ambience but we were pleased with the distance it provided from other patrons. The food was as expected but the hot tea was outstanding. We enjoyed our dining out experience.

The space is very attractive and service is attentive (sometimes too attentive, like trying to remove plates before we are finished or one person is still eating). Samosas were delicious as was the massaman lamb shank. The red curry cod was good but could have been better if it weren't smothered with so much sauce. I used to love their cod when it was with more of a broth sauce. This one was cloying. We certainly will return.

Great food and nice atmosphere, but our waiter was horrible! Someone else had to take our drink orders because he wasn’t coming to our table. He finally came and took our order, then he never came back to us. The manager finally came over and took our plates and brought our bill. I couldn’t figure out if the waiter was ignoring us because we were two gay men or if he was just that bad, but either was it wasn’t a good experience.

Food was bland. Panang curry had no flavor. Drunken noodle has no flavor except it was extra spicy. Seemed like the chef missed some salt or seasoning. Pad see ew was very yummy so not sure what happened to our other dishes.

Excellent service. Menu selection isn’t just typical Thai. They do have standard Thai dishes, but also have innovative selections like peanut encrusted trout, and other seafood infused with Thai spices. Ton of different curries. Vietnamese ribs. It’s definitely worth the effort to try.

Food was great, atmosphere was great. Had a reservation, table wasn't ready so we were asked to wait at the bar. The hostess forgot about us. After we were finally seated we noticed that everyone had those yummy sticky rice/eggplant starters, we had to ask for one after we got our entrees. Never received the second glass of wine that we ordered. had to track down another waitress for water refills because our waitress, who was darling, seemed to disappear.
