At Nora Restaurant and Bar, our mission is to introduce our customers to the vibrant and rich culture of Afghanistan through our authentic cuisine. We strive to serve each plate with the freshest ingredients and exotic spices to create a unique culinary experience. We were immediately seated. I had the butternut squash and my husband had the meatballs. Both were absolutely delicious! We were surprised by the spiciness, but quickly got used to it after a few bites. We’d definitely return.

Food was delicious. Ambience was good. There was music, but we could easily carry on a conversation without having to raise our voices. Only downside is we got there early to have drinks at the bar during happy hour, but were not given happy hour prices. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place.

Very busy evening, but host/manager was friendly and greeted us upon entry and checked in with us throughout our dining experience. We've been to this restaurant many times since it opened but our dinner Friday night was exceptional. Our group of 4 shared a number of dishes and all them were outstanding. Our server, Gregory, provided us with great recommendations and his service was beyond wonderful. Fantastic service is hard to find these days. It was truly a meal to remember.

2nd time to Nora and another excellent meal. We shared two appetizers (leeks in dumplings and a beef based dish) and both were delicious. Our various lamb entrees were so flavorful, tender and aromatic. Can't forget the two "Silk Road" cocktails which started the meal off perfectly. We'll be back!

It was great however tableagenet let us book the table at 8:15 on sunday however when we get there we were told kitchen closes at 8 and we don't allow guest after 8 however they did let us in though but surving took longer then expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed eating at Nora's. Social distancing measures were in place and although we preferred to eat on the patio, (we preferred to be seated without waiting for patio seating, somehow my reservation was deleted) but the dining room was great. The grilled lamb tekka was OMG and the ambiance was just right. It was the perfect place for a double date night.

The two lamb dishes we had were excellent...so flavorful and well presented. Our waitress was observant, discreet, and attentive, and we enjoyed conversation with her. The restaurant was uncrowded and very clean. The only (slight) negative is that with the highly sound-reflective surfaces, noisy guests can be annoying but that just seems to be the way it goes sometimes and is not the fault of the restaurant. I look forward to many return visits! The wine list had a small but decent selection and reasonable pricing. Overall, it was a great meal.

I have been to Nora several times and it is always wonderful. The staff is sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is beautiful. They were out of a couple of wines we wanted to order, but that is probably because they receive their orders the next day. It means they are very popular and sell out of product!

The food is incredible however the services was a bit bad. We think the server was new however this is a restaurant you need the food explained to you and she was unable to do this. Luckily we had eaten there before however our friends hadn't so they had a lot of questions. We are pretty sure one dish given to us was wrong but we ate it and it was delicious!

Our server was new and still learning the menu herself, but was very sweet and attentive. A bit soft spoken and hard to hear at times, but did a great job overall.
The lighting in the restaurant seemed to be having some issues. Or someone kept messing with it. We’d be all most in the dark, then someone would turn up the house lights, then they’d go back down again. All through our meal. It was very distracting. But the food was excellent, as always. And the cocktails were as well.

The food and drinks at noras are always great I consistently enjoy my meals there One odd thing on this past Saturday nights visit- toward the end of our meal, the servers opened up the sliding patio doors near us and began to break down the settings on the patio tables Keep in mind it was mid 30s outside and we were maybe 15 feet from what was now a gaping hole in the restaurant Needless to say, we bundled up and made a hasty exit I stopped on the way out to suggest they give that further consideration in the future but my suggestion was clearly not welcomed It wasn’t even close to closing Something to consider if you choose to visit

Beautiful ambiance unfortunately even though we were inside bc they had the partition open we got eaten up by mosquitoes. Our waitress brought us bug spray to help which helped out. Aa far quality goes everything we had was of quality except for the bread. It was just the store bought pita bread which was very disappointing considering this is supposed to be a nice upper end of afghan food. Was hoping for more a delicious authentic Afghan bread. My only other complaint was that our food especially the rice was not hot. There is noting more disappointing than warm to simply room temperature food. Our rice should come out at a temperature that butter would melt if it was to be placed on top of it. I will give it another try hopefully it was just a bad day for them.
