We absolutely loved this place and took our nieces there for their first proper tea. I'd say having a couple of different types of kid friendly tea sandwiches might work better and/or toasting the grilled cheese might help. Not sure if some baked chicken fingers for the little girls can be on the menu - but that's minutia. This was a phenomenal experience.

We love everything! I brought a friend who had not had the "Tea Room" experience. She loved the ambiance, the dishes, the tablecloths and she said it was the best Quiche she has had. She bought scones, as well. She is coming back for sure as well as a few of my other friends.

Everything was wonderful! We were celebrating a 100th birthday right on the day! Only suggestion is to get an inner door for dining room because every time someone walked in we got a blast of cold air...and we purposely asked to sit as far away from door as possible and still felt the cold! Everything else was superb! Love this place!

Need more kid friendly options. We had 5 kids A few 7-14 and only one if them liked the quiche. Pbj finger sandwiches, grilled cheese or French toast sticks would have been a big hit. Any kind of French toast casserole would work too.

We would return. Our waiter, Phillip, was very pleasant and kind. Unfortunately, we felt another wait person was needed. We were served scones, but had a long wait for the tea. When the tea finally arrived, we were disappointed to find tea bags in the pots, expecting brewed tea at a tea house. It was another long wait for the quiche and salad. It was worth the wait, as both items were presented beautifully and were delicious. The Spinach Florentine quiche was exquisite. I received more tea when my pot was getting low, but my friend did not. When her pot ran low, no longer being warm, I shared my tea, and she got up and went to the store side to find Phillip and ask for more tea. We both thought Phillip was doing his best, but when the tea house filled with more guests, more than one wait person was needed. As for the scones and whipped cream--top-notch! We saved the last two for some dessert, and we were glad we did it this way. Most of the guests left with some of their scones, but not us. We ate all six! On the reservation form, I had indicated we were celebrating a birthday and hoped that might mean some treat for my friend to mark the special occasion. That didn't happen--another disappointment. Still, overall, we were pleased with the experience.

The crust on my quiche was a little overdone and was very hard to cut. I had to leave most of the crust uneaten. The quiche filling was wonderful, though, as were the scones and the tea. The ambiance at Jen’s is magnificent and my friends and I will return again and again. I was able to give my cousins a very happy birthday lunch. Thank you!

Everything was more than wonderful. The waitress(I forgot her name) was exceptional( give her a raise), the atmosphere was always pleasant, and the food was delicious. When I made my reservations it was for The Pink House in New Baltimore. When I received the confirmation of the reservation I quickly scanned it saw the date and time and number of guests which was correct. I did not see that it was for their other location in Roseville. When we arrived at The Pink House we were shocked to see that it was closed. Why would a confirmation be sent to me of a reservation made at an entirely different location? The owners son told us that he posted on Facebook that The Pink House was closed. I didn’t make reservations through Facebook why would I check to see that it was closed? Such a disappointing day. We ended up going somewhere else since we were many miles away from the Roseville location. The owners should have posted on this site at the time of making my reservation that The Pink House would be closed the day that we chose.

I met a friend that I used to work with years ago as we both love tea. It was a great experience. We love the ambiance of the tea room with all the beautiful dishes, lace tablecloths and furniture. I love the Royal Tea Room. I have taken 3 friends and my sister there to experience drinking tea out of beautiful tea cups and eat delicious scones. The ambience is great. I also like being able to choose and purchase more scones before I leave. I will continue to come there and bring others to experience it. I've been to several tea rooms (Dearborn, Royal Oak), but the Royal Tea Room is still my favorite.

Waitress was pleasant and helpful in choosing teas but not very knowledgeable about tea in general. We expected a little education.

The quiche florentine was excellent, as was the salad (and an excellent salad is very important to me). Of course, the variety of scones served and the tea were icing on the cake!!!! The food is amazing. Best quiche I have had. Scones are delicious. so many varieties. Try the chocolate toffee! Bought some to take home. The star is the service. Waiter was delightful and made it such a fun experience. Can't wait to go back.

It has been a while since last at the Tea Room. Still a good experience but the crust on my quiche was a bit tough. And the tea was lukewarm, not hot. Both were still tasty. The scones are always the highlight of the visit. Would definitely return.

Not attentive to the reservation. I scheduled to have something special for sisters birthday but was not acknowledged. No background music to set a mood. The server seemed frantic and rushed and didn't explain how the tea experience worked or checked up on us throughout. The food was limited (due to covid) to the basic scones and quiche, but no seasonal ones to try, no tea cookies or tea sandwiches and only 3 teas to choose from which weren't anything out of ordinary. but the scones and lemon curd were good.

The server who waited on us did not help nor listen to my friend’s experience when she was coughing from excessive vinegar on her salad. She did not offer to replace it. She acted like she didn’t want to serve us. This is the first time I have experienced this going over the years.
The younger lady was very nice to us the brunette. Thank you for your outstanding service with the better help and great food.

I took my friend to lunch. She helped us pack & move to our new condo. Our lunch was delicious & a generous serving of quiche. The scones as usual were tender & moist. I took home a dozen for my husband & myself to enjoy. My friend had only be at this restaurant once before a few years ago. She was delighted. Our service was very good & friendly even thought there was only one server. She was always smiling & answered all our questions. We’ll be back and are planning to visit the other location in warmer months. Thank you again.
