Frequently Asked Questions- Do you have a dress code?
- Dress is smart casual, please feel free to rock your best frock or your fancy pants!
- How are you responding to the pandemic?
- Signage & procedures for social distancing are in place. A reservation system is in place for busy evenings. Additional hygiene measures are in place. Face coverings are required inside when not drinking & when getting up to go to the toilet. Track & trace is in operation.
- What do I do if I'm running late for my booking?
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be considered cancelled and opened up to other guests. Please call us as soon as possible if you know you are running late - 01392 547507
- Is Palm child-friendly?
- Palm is very much an adult environment however we do welcome children before 7pm. Please note however that we have no high chairs or baby changing facilities.
- Where can I see your menu?
- Our website, QR on your table & we have printed ones too.
- Do I need to give my details for Track & Trace?
- Yes. No details unfortunately means no service. The government require that all members of your party give their details when either booking a table in advance or walking through the door ad hoc (if 16yrs or above) & even if sitting outside
- Do I need to book during the day?
- No, you are welcome to turn up from opening and we will seat you and your party. A booking system is in operation from 17.00 however if we have an unreserved table we can offer you until the reservation arrives, then we certainly will.
- Do you do food?
- We do not offer a full food menu - we are primarily a drink led bar however we do have a small range of delicious bar snacks from olives to small meat/veggie and cheese boards.
- INFORMATION ABOUT EVENING BOOKINGS
- Please note that you have your table for 2 hours from the start of the booking. If you wish to stay longer than this please make a second booking for the time slot immediately after. Eg. If you wish to stay from 19.00 until 23.00 please book a 19.00 slot and a 21.00 slot.

Had a really relaxed evening- everything I expected.
Absolutely loving the decor.
Great touches throughout. Bathroom sinks very Klimt.
Service will get slicker. If I was being fussy different freshener in bathroom maybe lemon verbena to keep up with the classy feel.
But really enjoyed! Success and exciting times.

Staff do not seem to know what they are doing. When having a gin you would expect a bowl glass not a glass I have in my kitchen{sound fussy but taste better in a proper glass. I was told by one staff to pre-order food went in to confirm numbers on arrival no food, I was told you cant pre order food so we up and left to find somewhere to eat. Drinks were not good coke flat. Decor lovely its a shame its not organised better.
Give it time I hope it improves .

We really enjoyed our drinks with friends at Palms. Beautiful decor and friendly hospitality. We didn’t try the food but I had cocktails that were made with care because of my allergies.

We are from Exmouth and LOVE this place- but after two visits we want to give some feedback- your waitresses can’t remember which table they’ve served or what they’ve ordered. We were asked repeatedly if we’d like to order when that person had already taken our order. Also on both visits we were told you don’t sell Prosecco by the glass ‘because it’s not popular enough by the glass’ but were happy to try and sell us a bottle of it- we’d had shots of Prosecco served with our ‘palm star martinis’ so we assume there was a bottle open somewhere! We heard other people having similar experiences. We’re concerned that local loyalty will wear thin if these issues continue...
Please take this with the encouragement with which we intend it- we are desperate for you guys to be a massive success!!!

Service extremely slow, bar staff were not welcoming or friendly - didn’t even acknowledge us. Waitress and floor manager pleasant. Man in charge behind bar was very rude to other staff members. All in all very disappointing.
