We booked a table for the steak night, and were surprised how big the steaks were, and very enjoyable too. So much so we booked again for the following week, and that was just as good. I had the all day brunch, which was really nice, but the second time a think the bacon was left over from breakfast as it was very crispy, but I could be wrong. We also tried the Sunday carvery and that was enjoyable too - really nice that there were sprouts available, which I have never had on a carvery. The staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely be back next year.

new name but needs a makeover, this maybe future plans, has such potential. Food was lovely worth a stop especially if you're a family, but could be a few more choices on kids menu. would go back

We felt a little like we were looked on as ‘outsiders’ amongst the few customers already there.
No-one at food counter so a little unsure about the process until we ordered drinks etc at the bar and same lady then advised us she would get someone for us once we were stood at the Carvery.
Had beef and Turkey, a good amount of meat was provided. However the beef was very difficult to cut. The rest of the Carvery food was a little crunchy from being under the lamps (for how long?) and some didn’t look too appealing although tasted nice (for eg. cauli cheese). Gravy had a skin on it.
Overall, given the £9.50 offer (drinks included not clear), it was good value. However, not sure we’d rush back for a Carvery unless there when the food was fresh, we were there at 3 and supposedly Carvery was available until 5pm.
