We booked after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The food was amazing, beautifully cooked and so much choice. Not to mention the sides buffet, which you could go up to as many times as you wanted to. The cuts of meat were fabtadtic and the yiung lady who bought them round took time to explain what they were, if it was a speciality and what marinades were on them. The homey pork and Picana were a particular favourite of ours. Fantastic cocktails to and Mila was a lovely young lady who was polite , friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out if youre in Weymouth.

Love Sambo, both the Weymouth and Poole sites. Staff where fantastic and very attentive. I'd have given the food a 10 but wasn't keen on the pudding - personal taste but I couldn't understand what it was before I ordered it and thought I'd try something new Other than that small thing it was a pleasure to dine here

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Sambos. The food was excellent & the staff & service were brilliant. We were celebrating a 60th Birthday & after our meal when we were enjoying cocktails the lovely waitress ladies appeared with a delicious dessert with a candle & sang Happy Birthday to my partner. He was over the moon. Thank you for making his 60th very memorable.

Our first experience at this type of restaurant and it was great! The buffet area was so fresh and varied. Waitresses and the guys that served the meats, were so polite and attentive. It was our wedding anniversary and lovely touch from you at the end of the meal with a complimentary shot finished of the evening. We shall definitely pass on the word and visit you again. We absolutely loved this place. It was a real departure from dining out as we know it. It’s really nice to experience all these new tastes. Especially loved Brazilian steak, garlic steak and the lamb was divine. Our Malbec blended perfectly. Only one criticism was that the filet mignon could have been a bit more tender. The sides were also so tasty but being carnivores we concentrated on the meat!

My friends and I had a great time, service was very good.however, the food was good but not great in the buffet aspect. As a Brazilian myself, the black bean stew was average, you need more Brazilian buffet style foods, palmito. Pao de queijo, coxinha , pastel, Quibe, fresh farofa, definitely more hot dishes, xinxin , couve, Moqueca de peixe. Brazilian cheeses, a desert buffet also, that would boost costumers, pasteis de nata, bolos , brigadeiros, etc.. you need less tables and more buffet area.. I do however know it comes to a cost if costumers don’t show up, but if the buffet improved, it would be a packed restaurant. I also do realise it’s a Rodizio style restaurant, but back home a rodizio comes with a an abundance of sides and hot dishes. For those that aren’t much of meat eaters comes for the buffet alone. Overall I had a great experience, the music wasn’t massively loud but could be turned down a notch or two, so I can hear myself talking.

This is a great choice for meat lovers. The quality was very good, and the way its served by very attentive staff make it a real experience. Loved the specials - May have loved to have more of a story around them? A plus may be to offer some of the fish/lighter options even, as a would you like to try if not round the table, for those who dont have that much capacity for red meat, but to be honest the chicken and pork was welcomed too

Food,Staff and restaurant was lovely but thought was quite pricey and service charge is added and you have to ask to have it removed and felt uncomfortable doing this bearing in mind we spent nearly £100 for 2 people - this did not include starter,dessert or alcoholic drinks

Went for my wife’s birthday, the two girls that served us were excellent , the decor was lovely and the Brazilian music was a nice touch . Service was fast and friendly loved the food , the variety of meats on offer were delicious done to how you each liked it , the salad bar was well stocked and lots of variety. The two girls brought my wife a dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday to her which made the experience even more memorable. Definitely will be going again .

The service was outstanding and I thought there was an excellent ambiance to the restaurant. I thought the beef steaks were not as outstanding as the lamb and pork servings. I liked the salad bar and again thought there were many excellent parts to it . I would say the dressings and sauces and mayo / guacamole were not as labelled as well as they could be as this meant they were missed by some of my party. I guess due to offering so much food variety in the area. The staff who looked after us were really excellent so an extra special well done to them.

One of if not the best meal we have had in ages. Food was incredible, staff were friendly and helpful and explained the dining experience to us as we had never been before, we will definitely be coming back!! We even got a table with a sea view. The perfect birthday treat!

Myself, my partner and daughter where all very impressed with how delicious everything was at Sambo and impressed with the quick service. If we where to say anything as a slight negative, it's that we didn't get our drinks until after the meat was served. It would have been better if the drinks were a fraction quicker.

Excellent food and great service. We had the lunchtime Rodizio menu. All the meats were delicious, as were the salads/sides, which were a nice mix of dishes alongside simple fresh items which kept even our pickiest eater happy. The mocktails and desserts were both great and very beautifully presented. It’s not the cheapest dinner option, but the price was very reasonable for the quality and range of food we had, and the age-based child rates were a particularly good deal.

We always in joy a meal at Sambo's and yet again they didn't disappoint, but I will say that the drinks prices were very unreasonable, £7.50 for a not overly tastie beer and again my wife a had gin n tonic and again this fell short with the a very strong tonic.

Excellent all round - the Food as always was superb and the Service exemplary. The only small criticism I can make is that the premises was cold. We sat next to the plug in heater but its output was limited. but as I said, very minor in comparison to the overall excellence

We loved our evening at Sambo Rodizio. The food was delicious. A range of beautifully grilled steak, lamb, chicken, sausage and ham; and it just kept coming. Our waitress, Hannah, was wonderfully hospitable and attentive and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Our first visit to Sambo for our wedding anniversary. We were both so impressed by the service and the food, our waitress was amazing and very helpful. 2 plates and we were defeated! The variety and flavour of all the meats was fantastic, we were given a shot to celebrate on the house and it was a gesture we didn’t expect but very much appreciated and we will definitely be returning and have recommended to all our friends! The only very small downside was the music was a tad on the loud side otherwise we loved it!

First time going to this restaurant and we will be back. Accidentally went day before I had booked but it wasn't too busy so we were fine. Probably didn't make the most of the meat service so a bit expensive for what we ended up eating. Will just prepare better next time by not eating lunch. Lamb was gorgeous and the standout meat for me. Waitress was great. Only thing we found was that it was a bit chilly. Will bring a cardigan next time.

I loved having the minted lamb as that was my favourite meat. Also me and my partner really enjoyed it but last time me my partner and my parents came we got kicked out really and also the salad bar and the hot counter ran out of food, and it was empty for a got 40mins before someone decided to refill it back up.

Excellent ambience, range and variety of meats and the salad counter. Their biggest positive is their lady usher and the waiters. Excellent experience, best so far out of all the places I've visited so far. Absolutely worth the visit. The evening rates are a tad expensive and might draw a bigger crowd if reduced, else all good.

I went with my partner for pur anniversary dinner. The waitress was lovely on arrival and explained the process and the allergens well to me (I have a gluten allergy). The meat came around very frequently and it was cooked to perfection. I'm not usually a huge meat-eater compared to my partner, but oh my goodness. It was the most tender, flavoursome meat I have ever eaten in my life!! Cocktails were also beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning!

Food was amazing. Service was great. But, my god it was so so so very cold in the restaurant. Diners were eating in coats and wool hats. Manager says they're new to these premises and hve issues. Don't go downstairs to the loos.... sub zero!

This was our first visit to Sambo and we weren’t disappointed! It initially seemed a little expensive but the food was exceptional. I have never had so many different cuts of meat; the minted lamb was so tender and flavourful, the picanha beef was sublime and definitely my favourite - that’s just to mention a couple. There was chicken and sausage available too which were also beautifully cooked. The waiting staff had impeccable manners and were very attentive. All in all it was a great experience which will undoubtedly be repeated many times now we know what it’s all about.

Amazing meats, the lamb in particular is to die for. All the servers were lovely. Location, decor, ambience all really good. Felt a couple of times we were skipped and meat went to other tables not ours, which was a little disappointing when it was something we wanted. Had to ask a couple of times for meat to be brought to us. Also disappointed about the lack of decent condiments, thankfully most of the meats don't need it as they are so damn good. But a bit of Chimchurri wouldn't go a miss. I know it's Brazilian Restaurant not a Argentinian, but who doesn't love Chimchurri! Overall some minor things didn't take away from a beautiful meal.
