In the evening we had to wait 50 minutes for our meal after ordering. The food was very expensive for what it was. To only have one type of each colour wine is very poor - especially when it costs £26 a bottle and is almost undrinkable it is so bad. My smoked fish pancake gor breakfast was delicious but my husband's bacon had obviously been cooked some time ago & was hard & burnt & the sausages were cheap & nasty. Surely it must be easy enough to use good local produce at that price! The next day we paid £3 pp less & had the most delicious local, good quality, well cooked breakfast. We won't be returning to bridge of cally & definitely would not recommend to friends.

It is always a pleasure to eat at Bridge of Cally. the food is good quality and good value. there is an excellent range to choose from on the menu, and if you would like to make a slight change to what you have chosen (ie leave part of the dish out) it is never a problem. You are always greeted with a warm welcome, and nothing is too much trouble to any of the staff. we love staying here, and can only thank all of the staff for making our stay so warm, friendly and welcoming. It just encourages you to go back, which we will.

We are returning customers with my daughter and 2 collie dogs. Always there is a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere, very professional and relaxed. The hotel and rooms beautifully clean, the room cleaned, set beautifully daily. The staff cannot do more to make your stay a happy one, always going one step beyond their duty, nothing too much trouble. The menu extensive for both dinner and breakfast, tasty and well presented. The dogs receive the same welcome and loved coming here again! Highly recommend this lovely cosy hotel which really steps up to meet expectations! Thank you to all the staff!

We ordered ribs, mixed grill and a child’s chicken burger. The mixed grill was lovely, the ribs were nice but didn’t fall off the bone and the Childrens chicken burger was covered in some kind of spice (not pepper but added a strange taste). We then ordered desserts and which were childrens fudge cake, sticky toffee pudding and the Sundae. These were all good and the staff were lovely. Unfortunately I feel it was slightly too expensive for what it was

We had a lovely time. The breakfast was amazing as was dinner, we ate dinner both nights. Great being able to sit by the fire. The family room with the pool table was also good. My one negative feedback is the lack of a nicer wine. Staff were lovely.

Great friendly and attentive service, especially for our dog. Beer was overpriced at nearly £8 per pint. Nicer bread for the table would have been good, but overall great food, we were happy.

Quickly seated on arrival. Staff friendly and approachable. Table at window overlooking water. Order taken promptly but food a little slow in coming. Once order arrived it was freshly prepared, hot and very enjoyable. Had evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Husband enjoyed all his choices but I felt the Full Scottish Breakfast was a little greasy.

Service was excellent in a nice setting with a good range of food options that was well prepared and presented. However in our opinion given similar experiences in other locations we thought the price was on the high side of expectations.
Once again I must compliment the two serving staff who were exceptional.

- The table was sticky during the diner. The same the day after for breakfast.
- Tables available near the window. We would have appreciated one of these tables being proposed to us.

Food was average, very nice fish and chips but lasagne was tasteless. We arrived at 19.00 and it took 15 min to take a order (after I spoke with the barman) and then we wait another 30 min to have are dinner. From all evening I really enjoyed my pudding.

Nice location and setting. Our server was quite attentive but a little cheeky to us Americans as he was Scottish-Canadian. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the lamp shank. Both were good but not to-die-for. Her veggies were not fresh, but frozen veggies. So, good, but not great.
