It is always a pleasure to eat at Bridge of Cally. the food is good quality and good value. there is an excellent range to choose from on the menu, and if you would like to make a slight change to what you have chosen (ie leave part of the dish out) it is never a problem. You are always greeted with a warm welcome, and nothing is too much trouble to any of the staff. we love staying here, and can only thank all of the staff for making our stay so warm, friendly and welcoming. It just encourages you to go back, which we will.

We are returning customers with my daughter and 2 collie dogs. Always there is a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere, very professional and relaxed. The hotel and rooms beautifully clean, the room cleaned, set beautifully daily. The staff cannot do more to make your stay a happy one, always going one step beyond their duty, nothing too much trouble. The menu extensive for both dinner and breakfast, tasty and well presented. The dogs receive the same welcome and loved coming here again! Highly recommend this lovely cosy hotel which really steps up to meet expectations! Thank you to all the staff!

We ate at the Inspired Signature Restaurant for three nights whilst staying at Bridge of Cally Hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. The food was well prepared and service was excellent. We ordered ribs, mixed grill and a child’s chicken burger. The mixed grill was lovely, the ribs were nice but didn’t fall off the bone and the Childrens chicken burger was covered in some kind of spice (not pepper but added a strange taste). We then ordered desserts and which were childrens fudge cake, sticky toffee pudding and the Sundae. These were all good and the staff were lovely. Unfortunately I feel it was slightly too expensive for what it was

Quickly seated on arrival. Staff friendly and approachable. Table at window overlooking water. Order taken promptly but food a little slow in coming. Once order arrived it was freshly prepared, hot and very enjoyable. Had evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Husband enjoyed all his choices but I felt the Full Scottish Breakfast was a little greasy.

Food was average, very nice fish and chips but lasagne was tasteless. We arrived at 19.00 and it took 15 min to take a order (after I spoke with the barman) and then we wait another 30 min to have are dinner. From all evening I really enjoyed my pudding.

Nice location and setting. Our server was quite attentive but a little cheeky to us Americans as he was Scottish-Canadian. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the lamp shank. Both were good but not to-die-for. Her veggies were not fresh, but frozen veggies. So, good, but not great.

The restaurant is in the Bridge o Cally Hotel on a junction on a country road near Perth. We visited on a warm, sunlit Monday in June. The restaurant has a lot of Windows looking out onto a lawn and the river which bubbles brightly over rocks. The ambience was perfect.
Mine host is an outgoing soul who makes an entertainment of the ordering, delivery and consumption of food.
The food itself is good quality pub and I had a venison casserole which was very tasty if a little salty. It was preceded by prawn and smoked salmon cocktail which tasted fine but spoiled itself by arriving on a slate(caterers please stop this pretentious practice).
There is a good range of choice for dessert.
Although the food was good, I felt it was priced on the highside. Visitors should go on the internet 3 days before their visit and book the Special Deal which saves £10 on a meal for two.

The ambience was only lower rated because the restaurant was empty.
The food menu was excellent but very expensive. The price should have reflected a high standard of cooking but that was not the case with my main course. The vegetables were overcooked which was disappointing.
The tower of potatoes must have been left to keep warm because the top of them had a dried out skin layer.
The chicken portion was good and with the sauce, enjoyable.
The vegetarian tart pastry was partially burnt.
We did not complain at the time because our server had been so attentive and pleasant

Two very different experiences. For the evening meal all ratings would be 10. Breakfast however was a very different experience. There needs to be the same thought and inspiration applied to breakfast as to the evening meal. Not everyone wants a cooked breakfast. Healthier options like yoghurt , fruit etc would be appreciated. A children's breakfast menu serving children size portions and the same clever thought as to food as in the children's evening menu (which is brilliant) badly needed. Sadly the breakfast server was brusque and judgemental.
