We we're a group of six who get together around the country annually, you were recommended by friends that live in Goring and we weren't disappointed, we had a coeliac and a gluten intolerant person with us and the staff were very helpful in guiding them through the menu, the food was excellent, we would definitely reccommend.

Been here several times before and as usual it was lovely. This was a birthday treat for me and from start to finish it could not have been nicer. Fantastic welcome when we arrived. Shown straight to our table (we had booked). Did not take long to put in and receive our drinks order. My daughter loved her double cocktail pick and I as always love your Zinfandel. Gorgeous food, from past experience we know the portions are huge so no starters for us. Chicken skewers, creamy king prawns and chicken in a tomato and cheese sauce all absolutely delicious. I even was able to take home my dinner that I could not eat. Only one little niggle and that is service charge is included in the bill. I am old school and have worked in the catering/service industry and for me leaving a tip should be discrectionary. May be introduced for parties of 6 or more but not a given. I do not have a problem leaving a tip but feel it should me my choice. A lovely evening was had and I am sure we will be back again.

The food was excellent. I eat out a lot (I live in London) so I’m pretty spoilt for choice at home.

We had, a wonderful Evening. We took Our Friends, again, and they love it, at Effes . The service, was Fabulous. We were looked after, the minute, We went through the door. I am in a wheelchair, there attention to Me, was phenomenal. The food, is so nicely, displayed, always Hot. Certainly, is a lovely Restaurant. There is nothing, I need to Add, it's pure, perfection, from start to finish.

Very tasty food, well presented and perfectly cooked. Lovely family atmosphere and friendly staff. The only downside was the drinks were expensive.
