Food and service were excellent. The "homemade" relish and pickled cucumber with the burger were both amazing. The service was really quick too. The portions were big too, including the desserts which were also amazing. It was our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely time. Will definitely be coming back!

We come to Hoof every year when we're in Rye on holiday. The food is great but it is the staff that really make the place. Without fail we are served by a group of super friendly young women who are helpful, good humoured and who have obviously received excellent front of house training. It's a real pleasure to dine there. Thank you x

I had a rib eye steak which was fabulous, great flavour. The chips were good too. The consistency and flavour of my husband’s burger was not quite so outstanding. But will definitely be back.

We had a really nice evening, it was extremely busy being half term so whilst the service was welcoming, drinks arrived quickly but food took a while. This could have been alleviated by some advance planning by management given it being school holidays and good weather. The food was tasty, good quality but my partners steak was not cooked as requested. We decided not to complain given how long we had waited. The serving staff were all extremely pleasant and good.
