We were absolutely thrilled with the Mothering Sunday afternoon tea. From the booking to leaving the staff were professional and helpful. The children were delighted by the tractor shaped sandwiches. There was plenty of food and enough to take a box back home. I would definitely recommend a trip here if you have young children for the farm and for anyone if they want lunch out.

The quality of the food was very good although the quantity was not as expected from the website. The menu on the website clearly stated 4 finger sandwiches so for 4 there should have been 16 but only 12 arrived and when queried with the staff we were only getting 3 of each. there were 4 of each scone but although there were 4 macarons there were only 3 passionfruit tarts and 3 lemon posset choux so not an equal number for the 4 people. We had to move the table as we were in sun with no parasol shade available. Service was marked at 5 because nobody came to check we were OK and we had to go and ask for more tea. In general we thought you could do so much more with the cafe. Saturday lunchtime it had run out of items of the menu but there was no information on this until you placed an order. This may have caused the long wait line to order and collect food and drinks. It would have been so easy to have a board marked up.

Took my husband for afternoon tea on his 70th Birthday he was in a wheelchair every thing was arranged around him .The table was perfect, food lovely so was the service and even the Birthday card left on the table for him.Thank you.

Had an amazing afternoon tea at Sharnfold Farm. Staff were super friendly and so accommodating. We turned up early with a fidgeting 1 year old and a hungry 5 year old. They couldn't have been helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was fresh & delicious

Made to feel very welcome. Staff helpful and available when needed. They produced an excellent tea for someone who is vegan and did everything possible to offer them choices. Sandwiches were delicious and the cakes superb. Would recommend Sharnfold to anyone who wanted refreshments, excellent shop to browse round and interesting gardening section. A fantastic experience.
