Great venue with an amazing garden that ticks all the boxes. Heated booths and friendly staff that give very good service. Prices are reasonable for drinks and the pizzas.

After seeing the new garden advertised on Facebook I wanted to book to experience the garden for myself. It looked gorgeous. I booked three weeks prior to my visit and one thought that would be ample time to be located in the garden. Upon my arrival I was told we would be seated at the front of the pub. I was very unhappy about it and questioned why we were not in the garden. The explanation given was that it was automat allocation and if we wanted to book the garden to do so online up to a week in advance...!!!! We were not shown to our seat, rather told we were allocated table 1. When we went outside, table 1 was already occupied, so we sat on table 2 (as the bar staff said we could pick any table). We were then questioned why we were sat on table 2. No one came to see if we wanted drinks, we had to ask and chase the bar staff. On my trip to the toilet I popped my head outside to the garden and saw that there were lots of empty tables so I requested to be seated on one of those after speaking to the manager. It was agreed we could... after the that, the drinks flowed, we ordered some pizza, which came out hot, and incredibly tasty.. and I loved the names of the pizza. The base was just delish without that salty base you would get from domino’s etc. As the evening went on more and more people showed up, very little social distancing was adhered to with many many people hugging.. the clientele were early teens / early 20’s.. (either that or I have aged 20 years in lockdown). More drinks flowed, and we chatted to the manager who said that in future, if you book again, put in a request in the little box provided that you want a garden seat or a booth. That simple. It could be a bit clearer on the website maybe. But although it was a bit of a rocky start... I still had a good evening and enjoyed the pizza!

Great service!!! Lovely welcome!! Amazing outside booths with heat lamps. But heat lamps need longer timer and a better wine selection would be appreciated.
