It was a lovely evening thank you. Staff fantastic and brought out birthday cake/candles lit etc very much appreciated. The blonde lady (sorry do not know name) was incredibly helpful, friendly and polite and made us feel special. Male waiter (again sorry no name) was attentive, professional, a really good waiter especially for such a young chap Food and speed of service really good, but the staff really made the evening and are a credit to you - thanks Matt

The food was lovely especially the garlic spicy tomato bread. Ordered the grill platter and steak and ale pie. Both was delicious. The staff was fantastic, very polite and attentive. Nice and chilled atmosphere made for a really pleasant afternoon.

Met a friend for breakfast and both the food and the service were good. We sat outside which was lovely in the heatwave (although the air con was on in the inside dining area). Didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our catch up. Would go back.

The whole experience was good the service was excellent even though we were waiting for one more your staff kept an eye on our table once ordered the food arrived altogether and the standard of food and how it was cooked to our request especially the steak which I quote my grandson the best I've had the rest was of a good standard I did send our complements to the chef will be going again

First visit since new management and pleasantly surprised. The only thing that spoilt it was when a mixed group of males/females came in and sat near us. They acted like loud, boorish louts. To be fair the manager asked them twice to quieten down and stop swearing. Fortunately they eventually got the message and left. Hopefully this was a one-off and we will return as the food was delicious

Been going here for a few years now , always really good experience although tonight (bank holiday Sunday) service was really slow , staff just talking at bar , had to ask for menus and ask for food and drinks orders , won’t stop me going though as food and drinks are good
