Perfect venue for a sociallly distanced occasion. We went there for our 22nd wedding anniversary - the staff were lovely, drinks were great, the food was of high quality (seriously, try the paninis) and being out in the warm air (25°) with the mellow music made it feel like the Mediterranean. Lovely!

Had a lovely night, Staff done great & customers were well spaced & well behaved. Service was slow but understandable as it was all table service. Only critique would be for staff not to forget tables in back corners of venue.

Staff were very helpful with tables and aloud us to stay longer than our slot to watch the football. service was fantastic, £4.70 a pint is a little steep but that might be Edinburgh for you. Overall enjoyed my experience

We booked an inside table for 9pm, a waiter did not come to our table untill 9.40pm and that was only because we had to ask to be served. Seperate waiters for inside and outside is needed. Or get an order online option like most other bars.

Restricted menu, was not informed of this before arriving. The food was served in take away tubs and not even enough to feed a small child. Also a restricted drinks menu and again we were not advised of this beforehand. The male staff were more interested in serving free shots to a table of females outside than they were serving anyone inside. I would definitely not return!

Food was rubbish, half done, lacking in ingredients. Cheap oven pizzas. Served in boxes and doesn’t state any of this on their website. The glasses were dirty as well. Not impressed

Really like the bar but always seems a bit short staffed, but they work so hard and are friendly. Takes a while to get through registration and takes a while also to receive first drink but will definitely be back!

My friends and I booked an indoor table. The menu was like a ‘cafe’ menu. I picked this bar because I looked at the menu online and it looked epic. I understand you need a reduced menu but that menu wasn’t the best. There were vegan items on there which was awesome too. My friends and I decided to leave after 1 drink as we were so hungry and the drinks weren’t the best for money. I will revisit when things go back to normal but for the mean time I won’t be back. Staff were friendly though

Nice seated area outside, heating provided. Reduced cocktails menu however all gin cocktails which is my favourite so no issues for me there. Reduced menu as well, again, understandable. What I don't get is the pizza we all had was tiny and just so dry and bland, a bit like a frozen pizza you buy for a couple of pounds in a shop. Does reduced menu also mean reduced quality? Cost £9 each.... Otherwise ok for a first eat in experience after lock down.

It was raining, we were sat outside and the staff were as u helpful as they could have been when we asked to move tables and even if they had something we could sit on rather than the wet bench. Although there were multiple dry tables empty they wouldn’t let us move as it was ‘fully booked’. However we stayed in the garden until closing time and 3 tables remained empty. They didn’t even pretend to try and help us they were dismissive any time we mentioned the wet table.

Absolutely horrendous experience! Didn’t have our table we ordered for my birthday, and the member of staff was not very accommodating. We were also greeted with his awful attitude on arrival. Won’t be back and will recommend others not to.

Had a booking for a table, arrived on time and waited in the queue however a couple in front of us who had zero booking got taken to a table within the beer garden and we got taken to the alley way which is apparently only meant for walk ins?? Ordered our first drinks but had to wait around an hour to be served again and were told half the cocktails were now out. My friend had another booking for the last few hours, so we told the staff when we first arrived just so they were aware only to be told that might not happen and they’d try sort it? Why allow the booking if it wasn’t going to be met. It’s totally understandable it’s a chaotic time and I don’t blame the staff however we made 2 members aware about the other booking 3 times but when it came time when they were closing the beer garden and we had asked that many times about our later booking they said we had to leave because there was no space for us. Also don’t appreciate when my friend spoke up about the fact the booking system needs sorted and then went to leave a random customer (who was still stood getting served) asked “what was with her f*cking attitude” and the staff member agreed ?

Allowed us to book here when it was shut due to covid. Spent money on a taxi to get there and when receptionist said to us she was even more clueless than us! Port show never again!

Sadly booked a table for the garden and got placed at the barrels in the lane that state they are for walk ins on the Facebook page. I would have rather booked inside than being sat there. We also then waited 50 minutes for someone to come and ask what we would like to drink and a further 15 for the drinks to arrive. Appreciate things are difficult at the moment but I think more care has to be put into the booking system. Clearly tables are overbooked and not enough staff servicing in the garden.

Wouldn’t let us in as it said it was full even though we had booked. Why did this happen? He said it was a problem with the system but then why wasn’t I contacted. I had to make my into town at 11pm after a hard day. I was shocked, disappointed & upset. Can’t believe this service. How am I meant to trust this system again and go back

We didn’t eat so I can’t comment on the food.
The service was sadly very slow with a few mistakes, obviously due to current circumstances! There was a real lack of provisions in place for for covid? I was very surprised by this. The cocktails weren’t great.
