Table of 4 and chosen food was the fish & chips, sea bass, chicken burger and bacon egg & chips. Out of the 4 meals the only one not enjoyed very much was the bacon but this was down to the pineapple chutney and personal taste not the actual food itself. Staff were friendly, some restaurants you can tell the staff do not want to be there but this was not the case here. No rush to get you out, table booked for 6:30 and we didn't leave until gone 11:30. Considering we were not drinking as we were all driving they even offered us water after we had settled our bill. Have been here before and would definitely go back again.

The Squid starters were to die for. All three of us chose the Rib-Eye Steak. It was the best.. We sat by a blazing log fire on a bitterly cold day. We had driven 100 miles to meet up to exchange Christmas presents and were greeted by the friendly landlord and his staff. The Coach and Horses deserves its No. 1 position in the area.

We’re so lucky to have this family run pub in our village. Jon and his wife are exceptionally good at what they do running this pub. It’s food is so good. Celebrated my birthday yesterday and had the crab and prawn pasta which was delicious. My son had a toasted sour dough cranberry and bacon sandwich which look massive served with chips and salad. He enjoyed his lunch too. Can’t wait to go back and friend has booked meal for a group of us at Easter.

They have terrific food, with great vegetarian options (for me) and are dog-friendly. The best!!! The humans are very friendly, don't rush you and seem genuinely glad to welcome you to the refurbished pub. It's my new favorite in the area!!! And their desserts are also wonderful!!!!

The Coach & Horses never disappoints. The food seems better on each visit, and the portions are generous. Always a good range of ales and lagers too.
Often there’s a roaring log fire in winter, which is welcoming.
Would recommend making a reservation as it seems increasingly popular.

Excellent, pub was busy following event but service and food still excellent. Very impressed.
