We are leaseholders and loved having the opportunity for a fine dining experience at Hume. We live in Visalia and dine out regularly, our ‘Bistro by the Lake’ meal and dessert was one of the best in our recent memory. If we were going to make one suggestion, it would be the table busing. Our server, LollI, was great but she had to request our table to be cleared more than once. Overall we loved it and had an amazing evening. It was fun being out by the lake and seeing friends dining there also.

Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, the waitress (Ari) was very attentive, the ambiance can’t be beat. It was such a special treat to come to the Bistro. Alex was very, very helpful and gracious. The whole staff is doing a great job.

The entire evening was wonderful. There was a little confusion with being served our entrées. After receiving our delicious appetizer and salads the servers came out with our check so we could pay for the meal which had not been served yet. We were a little confused but the four of us at our table got a good chuckle as we watched the servers holding a tray of entrées, search the seating area, then walk away with our entrées as if someone had gotten the order incorrect. Fortunately, Kevin was standing next to our table so we mentioned to him that we hadn’t been served yet. He noticed the servers walking away so ran after them to save our food. We were served and it was delicious! Thanks Kevin and staff for a wonderful evening! And a good chuckle.

For us it was a very nice relaxing evening in a great setting, with very friendly service and amazing food. It's not a fast food experience but rather a kick back and enjoy the evening meal well worth the time and money.

Food was wonderful but again the meatballs were gone by the time we ordered. Our friends order was messed up & brought out the wrong item. Joy fixed it. The wait to get our food was long. Was staff supposed to get a discount? We were told that but didn’t receive it.
