Frequently Asked Questions- How long are reservation tables held?
- 10 minutes. Please call us if running late to see if we can accommodate another time slot or table for your party.
- How many guests can I have in my party?
- We can accommodate at most 10 guests to a table. If you have more than 6 guests, please book 2 separate tables. If you need assistance, please give us a call at 409-684-1999 or email us at [email protected]
- Can we sit at the Bar?
- Bar seating is available for walk-in guests, first come first serve.
- Will my table be ready at the reservation time?
- Depending on table availability, reservation times will be ESTIMATED reservation times. Certain tables may take longer to complete their meals than expected, in which case, your party will be seated AS SOON as the next table is available within the 25% dine-in capacity. You are more than welcome to grab drinks from our Bar while your table is prepared.
- I see open tables. Why am I not seated yet?
- Due to the 25% capacity rule being enforced, we cannot seat all tables at once. We are monitoring how many guests are inside the restaurant at a time, and allowing guests to be seated accordingly.

We were visiting from Dallas. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Kristen was a wonderful waitress giving food suggestions and being very attentive. It was our friends birthday and Kristen acknowledged that and gave her a free dessert. The food was very very delicious. Of course the sunset on the water did not disappoint.

It is a huge hassle to deal with your online
Reservation. Having to make it on the same day only -it’s very inconvenient to say the least. When I tried to reserve my preferred time it said there were no reservations available but when I called the restaurant there were plenty of empty spots and even when I arrived over half the restaurant was empty

I always love Steve’s Landing. I don’t like the two-person tables at the end of the bar so much and that’s where we were at, but I understand. Also, an air vent was blowing right on us there so it was kind of cold. Server had a great personality and we liked him but didn’t check on us quite as quickly as would have been nice. Place was busy though, so understandable. I never leave there unhappy though!

The food was excellent. Probably hands down, the best beer battered fried shrimp I've had and I grew up on the Texas gulf coast. Service was slow, which is understandable given the situation with COVID has left restaurants short staffed but we did have reservations. The table wasn't ready and once seated, it took over 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. The staff was friendly and apologetic. It was very loud in the restaurant. We had a party of 8 and there was no way we could all communicate with each other.

Always a lovely time at Steve’s Landing. We ate there two times this week. The food is great and so are the views. Last night we had the crabcakes , the fried mushrooms, shrimp tikka and blackened catfish. We had very good service and enjoyed our time. Steve’s is the best restaurant on the peninsula. The parking is sometimes a challenge.

Great sunset dinner, the fish tacos were wonderful. The shrimp and grits are interesting, the sauce is a Tika Masala, so it tends to cover up the jalapeno cheese grits which is unfortunate because they are amazing. I'll definitely go there again!

Great experience! Table was ready when we got gheee. Sat right by the water and watched the ships and birds go by. Ceviche tostadas and jalapeño grits were great. Chicken fried steak was tough. Fried and grilled shrimp were excellent. No room for dessert I’m afraid. All of our plates, silverware, and glasses were disposable. Not sure if it’s always like that or just bc of coronavirus. Not a dealbreaker just unexpected.

We have been there twice in the past two months. We had a party of 11 both times. Service was excellent. The drinks and food were enjoyed by all. I like the requirement of having a reservation. Takes the stress out of a long boat ride and waiting for a table.
