Wow! Delicious food, great service, great prices! We were checked on several times by our server as well as others. Between four of us, we had four different entrees and each was amazing! Our drinks were yummy and we topped it all off with your outstanding bread pudding! Can’t wait to head back to Ellijay to visit again!

We love you guys and will always be back but pls have the chef taste the food a little more before serving - the grilled chicken was so dry and tasteless and the food overall was just “ok.” The service great as usual - only suggestion otherwise would be to perhaps open on Saturday’s @ 11:30 rather than 12. People were waiting to get in and it’s so hot to have to sit and wait til the doors open at 12. Thank you all tho for the great atmosphere.

came to emily’s, w a reserv for noon on saturday. upon arrival my husband was sat at a table. suddenly a woman (accent) came rushing to him telling him he can’t sit there, his reserv isn’t for that table and to leave. huh? after her finally listening to him, it was our table and reserv. the menu arrived and it wasn’t a lunch menu, like we’ve had many times before, it was a pricey italian “dinner type” menu. wasn’t anything like we expected so we politely excused ourselves. just disappointed. maybe the website should specify a “new menu”.

We have eaten here many many times and never had a subpar dining experience until last nite when we were treating out of town guests. Service was non-existent last night, couldn't get water, straws, salt ice. None of the plates were cleared after appetizers, no one checked on us at all during dinner and had to find someone to give us dessert options! I was very surprised! I saw only 2 servers from 5:30 til 7:30 so we are giving the service the benefit of assuming they were under staffed, hopefully? We will try again of course!

Two of us had the scallops and risotto. The flavor profile was unexpected and so delicious. One had the meatloaf, a time honored dish that continues to please. The other had the snapper special which also was outstanding. Amanda proved to be an attentive and knowledgeable server. It was a wonderful meal and evening.

We were forgotten the minute we were seated. People were served around us and sit seated before we were even acknowledged server never came. Manager took our order. It was messed up only received half of the order. Utensils were not made available for food items. both manager and server were very pleasant then and apologized afterwards. Bonus dessert was given , but not wanted. atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was delicious. Serving portions excellent. Coffee mugs were much too heavy and bulky. was disappointed as this was a celebration meal for somebody that got a job promotion and was moving away. We are understanding as it was a busy weekend with a festival happening.

Had reservations…we were placed at the table closest to the door which was kind of a bummer. Server was awesome. We ordered the lobster ravioli and the saltembucca(spelling). The lobster ravioli was a total let down. It appeared to have 4 to 5 raviolis and cannot even taste the lobster or see it. For $32 it was not worth it. The other dish was good thank goodness. We started with a Tuscan bread salad with tomatoes. It was not bad. This was our third visit here and by far the weakest. If the ravioli had been better I would’ve given it better rating. Everything else was bearable.

Thanks for sending out this opportunity for review. Always have loved the brunch experience. The menu continues to be exceptional. I especially liked that my food was served hot! I had the omelet with spinach, mushrooms and cheese. My husband had the French toast. His toast looked yummy as usual and thanks for including enough slices of bread! On the omelet, I would just suggest that the flavor of Ellijay's fresh mushrooms is not covered by another flavor. Not sure what was on them, but it was like a malty flavor, maybe just stirred into the mushrooms as they were sauteing. I think all mushrooms need is butter! That is my only suggestion!

First time in and we decided to sit at the bar. Having been in the restaurant business, the first thing I noticed was how clean the bar was - very nice. The service was great - both bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a dozen oysters for an appetizer and they were super fresh and delicious. Our main courses came out soon after and we both really enjoyed everything. It was a really great experience and we're looking forward to coming back in.

This was our first visit to The Butcher and Bottle and our experience was first class. Highly recommend if you are in Ellijay. Five stars for ambiance, food/cocktails and service. We were there for Sunday Brunch menu and ordered Wedge Salad, Classic Eggs Benedict and Veggie Frittata. Excellent. My only disappointment was that food selections from their main menu were not available until after 3pm. Will definitely be back to eat after 3pm.

We really enjoyed the meal. We had not been back to this location since it was Emily's but decided to try it for our anniversary. All of your staff were great. They immediately wished us Happy Anniversary. Service was good. I had the snapper special and my husband had the short ribs. Both were very good. We were surprised when offered a free dessert. The bread pudding was great. We had a very nice evening. The only problem with the ambience was a very loud group seated across the restaurant. But it was not a major problem.

Butcher & Bottle is a fabulous restaurant. Comfortable and pleasing atmosphere, exceptionally good food and cocktails, and most importantly, the best people who work there. Avery, our bartender and wait person was so personable and friendly, immediately introducing himself, and being readily available. And James, the GM, was equally as personable, stopping by to wish us Happy Easter and inquire about our experience. James' attitude was helpful and pleasant, and you could tell he truly enjoys his work, which shows in his staff! We call this restaurant our favorite -- a 10+ review!!

The night was relaxing and the food very good. Tge salmon and corn risotto were great, and the meat loaf had the best crust and flavor. The Cesar salad was a bit on the dry side, but the flavor and freshness were excellent. Ally, our server was pleasant with the perfect amount of attention.

My favorite place to go in Ellijay. They have a great menu. Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. They have an exceptional manager who always greets tables to make sure everything is fine. The building is beautiful which makes the atmosphere and dining experience very pleasant. Thank you for your hard work in providing a place like this in a small mountain town!

The food and the service were great! We had a reservation, but got there early so they seated us ahead of time anyway. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Disappointed in the eggs benedict - yolks were cooked through, muffin was tough. French toast, good flavor, a little soggy. The omelet and eggs curry were very good. Grits were average.

We had a reservation for 6:30 and arrived early. It was understandable that they could not seat us right away. However, when we were seated at 6:15, we were told we would have to be finished by 7:30 because a party was coming in and needed that table. I thought that was rude-we had a reservation too and should have been treated fairly. The chicken that was added to my beet salad was terribly dry. I ate it anyway and asked the waiter to let us know. Our waiter, Tim, was very nice.

Service was awesome- young man working Friday 12/10. Drinks were excellent. Brad Morgan is a delight for music. Only complaint is the butternut squash ravioli while very delicious, was a bit small for the price. We enjoyed our experience and will be back.

We had a wonderful experience. The live music was perfect for dining and the service was outstanding. The Espresso Martinis are a MUST. We will definitely return. We will come back for lunch next time to try the Salmon Burger. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was excellent and our server was the best. We were new to Emily's and didn't realize our reservation put us in the noisy bar. They did seat us in the second room upstairs that felt like a storage room. We will be back but only if we dine in the main floor.

My only complaint is not being able to order the grilled chicken. Breast and individual sides to go with that. My husband has specific dietary issues and couldn't have grilled chicken and broccoli because it has to be an add on.
