The service was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Being coeliac, it is always a bit of a risk eating out. Was very happy with the menu for coeliacs. My wife and I will certainly be back, thanks.

This is the first time I've been to the Crown. Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and kind. The bar staff went out of their way to assist when I needed help with the drinks. They offered and didn't have to be asked. Tha k you see you again.

The Table needed to be wiped down , which was done immediately (this was after the table was set for us.).
Glasses were picked up regularly , and a lovely lady offered to take a group photo.

When booking online, it would be handy to have a mad map of the sections.
We booked for a table of 9 and were squashed onto a table that we could barely get in/out of chairs once everyone was seated.

The food is lovely but the meals are just way too big - it’s almost off putting. I know some people want to eat crazy size portions to feel they get their moneys worth, and it’s likely difficult to offer different portion sizes, but if you could, that would be great!

Most of our meals were OK. However, the porterhouse steak was over cooked (ordered medium) and chewy (not necessarily your fault). The piece of schnapper was small and the flesh was dry.
