We love going the Good Intent Hotel. It is always clean and welcoming and staff are always friendly and helpful. Even when we have more people than what we booked for. Food is always good.

We enjoyed lunch at the hotel. Service was very good, the staff were alert, helpful and friendly and it felt genuine, special credit to the woman at the front of the kitchen counter, seeing people were seated happily and clearing tables at lunch on Sunday 8th March, she’s management material. It was a good menu, the meals were generous but not wasteful, my partner had a steak and it was perfectly cooked and I ordered the Greek chicken skewers which were also perfectly done juicy and well spiced. Side salads could be more interesting but catering is tricky as a lot of hotel regulars may also still be plain eaters. Though I’ve always felt you gather your best guests by venturing beyond the norm and expected cuisine and delivering something better than expected. Overall it was a pleasant lunch in a comfortable clean setting. Places to eat out on a Sunday for lunch are rare, only pubs and clubs. So well done.

Loved this venue! Menu (& food) was current & extremely tasty (thanks Chef)! Interior fit out was a welcome surprise & once the aircon system is operating at full capacity - the place is a winner! One of my fav places in Grafton.

Would be nice to have some senior meals on the menu as my parents don’t eat big meals and had to choose a kids meal not very appetising for them. The services and atmosphere was great definitely will recommend. Regards Steve

Quiet a nice atmosphere however the food was average and not great value for money. The lamb shank was very dry and lacking flavour. The calamari had the skin still attached making it like eating a rubber band.
