Blackbird – Vegankök & Bar is one of the few completely vegan restaurants in Göteborg. There are no animal products in our food, kitchen or bar. No meat, fish, seafood, dairy products, eggs, honey or animal additives. Instead, we embrace all the amazing vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes and products made of them in various forms. Our unique cheeses and tempeh dishes we make from scratch in our kitchen, as well as all seitan products. Our menu changes regularly but favorites will return.

Food was amazing and the ambiance great, music not too loud. Felt slightly rushed due to the fact that you were fully booked (which is fantastic!) maybe an idea is to put 10 mins between bookings to give enough time to reset the tables?

I went there with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed our time very very much. We absolutly loved it and will definetly come back many times! The whole experience was amazing, the food was incredible, the cheese and the dessert was 12/10 and it was a very cozy and welcomming resturant to vibe in. Even the bathroom was a fun experience with all the stickers.
Really truly recomend, dont need to change a thing!

Bästa stället! Ni är väldigt tillmötesgående och trevliga. Gillar att ni är så avslappnad, cool lugna. Finns inget att klaga på! Maten är suverän. Äter alltid 3 rätters hos er och så fort man har ätit upp börjar man planera för nästa besök :D

Great food and staff! Only pointer is in regards to the booking, it should state that if you don’t enter how long you want to stay it will automatically be 1,5 hours. In our case it was fine but if it were a bigger group it would be far too limited!

We had a starter -french fries with cheese fondue- and it was served with a ridiculous amount of salt on the fries. The waitress replaced it without a problem. The fusion of the bechamel-like sauce combined with fries does not really work for us. As an overall experience we would say that the level of Blackbird is above fast food but can do much better.

Really miss the old type of vegan comfort food (mac and cheese for example) that you only could find at blackbird, the new dishes (asian dishes and Kebabtallrik for example) are really easy to find at other places, so would appreciate some old classic dishes that blackbird do really well and are difficult to find at other places. Would also appreciate a warning when it comes to dishes that are spicy. Thanks!

I recommend this place..however the food varies from time to time in taste and quality. Their chilicheese remains a favorite! I was disappointed in their beverages. Especially the watered down drinks. A virgin Misantropic tasted like a glass of Funlight-extra light :/ However, our overall experience was good. Mostly because of their supernice staff. Also, I do have a soft spot for that type of ambience. Will visit again.

Very unattentive staff. The place wasn't crowded but it took 20 minutes before they took our order and you could literally seethem just hanging in the bar ignoring the guests. I got the first course approximately 10 minutes BEFORE our drinks arrived and had to ask three times for the water I ordered, which was luke warm when it arrived even if it just came from the tap.
The food was probably the best I've ever eaten in a restaurang though. The mushroom pasta was absolutely delicious. The dessert, semla, was dry but otherwise fine.
So very delicious food but very poor service.

The coffee drink my friend received at the end of our dinner was very watery and bland, and the food was unfortunately a bit tasteless. The service was okay. We had a pleasant experience, though our expectations were higher than the outcome.
