There is nothing that I can suggest to improve on. Not only did we like the food , the display , the excellent service but we were most impressed with the spaciouness between the tables. Most other places you feel crowded, tables etc being too close to one another.

My wife and I enjoyed a well-cooked meal at BP steakhouse on Thursday with a 6:15pmreservation. The meal itself was good but I have a few concerns being that it was close to $200 for the 2 of us. A cost I don't mind if the service matches the quality of the food. I was very surprised that the server was a teenager, I expected a professional server. She was not able to answer any food related questions or recommend drinks based on the food. This made it hard for me to tip properly on a $200 bill. She was still in high school, not yet able to drink. She was very nice and sweet, but I could go to The Argyle or the Keg for the same service at 1/2 the cost. I asked for a Medium steak that was still raw in the center, my wife was still hungry after her meal due to the serving size. As well the overall presentation of the food was very amateur, and our drinks did not match the flavor of the food. It's great to have an upscale restaurant but from our experience last night it stops at the door. I'd love to return and eat their weekly, but I don't feel it's worth it right now.

The first time eating at Big Pete’s and it certainly won’t be the last! Actually it will be our go-to steakhouse! The food was absolutely incredible. We were so impressed with the Caesar salad and then came the entree which was phenomenal….the Waghu steak, brussels and baked potatoes cooked to perfection. The desserts were decadent. Our server Kerri was marvellous and Mike the Manager was fabulous. Highly recommended. Nearly forgot to highlight the beautiful view of the golf course, just stunning! Kudos to the owner and staff (especially the Chef) for creating such a first class experience!

Hello , First I would like to say me & my family enjoyed our Mother's Day Brunch! The chefs did a good job of getting the food out & making it tasty! I believe that there should be more child friendly dishes for kids such as plain buttermilk pancakes & regular bacon. Also last time that l had brunch you served Pane Fresco breads & croissants ,this time you did not serve them & we missed that. You needed more wait staff on the floor but l am guessing that because of the labor shortage you were affected. The setting & room was beautiful & the live music was a nice touch ! In conclusion the value as amazing and the quality of the food was great and I would definitely recommend Monthill Brunch & to my friends & family! Marc Albanese 905 537 7722

We have never been to here to eat before and heard great things about it. We sat outside it was nice weather but the bees were bothersome. My food was over cooked my wife and daughter enjoyed there meals. Service was slow.

Table for 4 celebrating our anniversary. Beautiful setting and room with wonderful views.loud music was playing near the bar area which was not the atmosphere we expected for a fine dinning setting. Our server was Carrie who was beyond a ten, she was attentive and gave amazing service. Thank you Food - all 4 ordered Prime rib. 3 were a perfect medium, although they were not necessarily served warm or hot. The 4 th was ordered medium well and was definitely a well done piece. Flat more like a rib eye steak as well. They were all tender to taste. Side vegetables were all delicious but the French onion soup was left after a try. It was broth-less and onion less…it was all bread with almost a cinnamon flavour. Not the luxurious beef flavour expected. No mention of our anniversary so not sure why they asked in reservation if it was a special occasion. We did have a lovely evening with our friends and wonderful service. Will return to try the salmon next time.

I truly enjoy the venue. It is beautiful. I have golfed there and have had lunch down stairs a few times. Today, I was entertaining a very good customer who I believe was a bit disappointed that we could not get a steak at a steak house. I have to agree it was disappointing. My fault I guess, I should have read the menue and not assumed. Even if there was a lunch filet it would make sense for a steak house. Also given the time of year having a shrimp cocktail or some seafood would have been nice. Regards.

We absolutely were impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our only concern was for some reason we were overlooked once we were seated. Our server did make up for it though upon checkout, charging us for only one person with the other being free. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all involved.

The facility is fabulous. I was a little surprised that during the reservation it asks if it’s a special occasion, which it was , other then wishing my sister a happy birthday. There was nothing. I would have thought a small sweet at the end with a candle or a little sign on the table, a single rose or something. I felt my steak was slightly over cooked but everything else was good but I was expecting really good

Just a bit of feedback that I had was the temperature of both the egg with the salad and again the temperature of the short rib canoe. I expected them to be warmer. But that could be my ignorance of the canoe is supposed to be room temperature as I thought it should be hot.

Service was prompt and we didn't feel rushed. Shared appetizer was tasty and a bit unique. Steaks were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, but the peppercorn NY strip was very disappointing. It was full of sinew and more like a $7 AA grocery store steak. Serving staff didn't check back until we were finished our steaks. Desserts were excellent. Ambiance was very nice except for the golfers eating and drinking at the bar being loud with foul language.

This was our first visit to big Pete’s steakhouse. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in for something special. We were graciously seated by our hostess, and then promptly given menus and a wine list. They are very friendly waitress Bailey. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, the calamari as an appetizer, and we both had steaks mine was the prime rib and my wife had the pepper corn steak. Both cooked to perfection! At the end of the meal my wife was treated to the best complementary carrot cake she’d ever eaten (it was her birthday). We will definitely be returning.

Steak was great, oysters fresh, vegetables cooked perfectly, salmon chowder too thick, Yorkshires not as moist as could have been, maybe they were sitting out for a while, server was fantastic and atmosphere was wonderful, we will definitely return and recommend!

Always absolutely the best!! Francesca waited our table of four. She was so fun and efficient. The food was excellent as usual. It continues to be one of the best places to eat in the area from Burlington to Port Dover.

Delicious Valentines Day menu. We absolutely loved the food. The appetizer we chose was a heart shaped baked brie with berries. I have had many iterations of this dish before but this was the best. The mixed berries were bright and had just the right amount of acid to complement the richness of the brie. The second course was Beef tataki for my partner and short rib ravioli for me. My partner really enjoyed his. My pasta was cooked perfectly but the dish was way too salty. I couldn't taste any other flavour. The short rib was a bit stringy. Our main was perfect. We shared chateaubriand surf and turf. Excellent beef, lobster tails and beautifully cooked vegetables. For dessert we each had the poached pears. Nicely cooked, not turned to mush as they often are. However the ice cream was so melted as to be just a sauce. Portions were very generous and we had trouble finishing. Overall, really tasty.Service was just adequate. It appeared to be understaffed and with new servers. My water glass was dirty and I had to ask to have it replaced. We both ordered the same cocktail but one came and not the other. We had to remind the server about the second cocktail and when she fetched it, it was OK but a bit watery due to ice melt. During the meal we asked several times for pepper but never saw it. Our used cutlery was removed after the appetizer (as it should) but we had to request twice to have it replaced while we waited with our second courses. The server seemed to think we should have kept our used cutlery for the entire meal. While we were about 1/3 through our main course, dessert arrived. The Kitchen Runner (?) realized they had jumped to the gun and took it back. Pete's Place is a lovely restaurant but I thought they might have decorated for Valentines Day since they were offering a special menu. It would have been nice to include a gift like a rose or a chocolate or something. Nice background music would have been appreciated.

Service was great, Drinks & Wine were well executed, No background music so it was a bit dull and having a private conversation feels less private. Steaks were good, but not outstanding. Sides were a bit underwhelming. Being a first time visitor would have been nice to have an incentivized return, nevertheless will return, but not in a hurry.
