The only quibble I have is that two items on the lunch menu were not available for lunch: fish and chips and Philly wrap. I was looking forward to the fish and chips, so I was rather disappointed. The burger I had was very good, but not what I had wanted.

I LOVE the Blackbird and have introduced many of our friends/ family to your restaurant. We buy take out beer as well.
Our visit on April 4 was wonderful with my five girlfriends.
Yesterday, however, was a different story. We ALWAYS order the Buddha bowl and it’s now gone? I ordered your replacement salad with the hard beans and a million tiny pieces of red onion/ 2 squares of tofu.
I could not even eat it.
Please put the Buddha bowl back; the Swiss chard is delightful and the dressing was always light and refreshing. So many meat options …

Food: I ordered fish and chips. The fish was fine, but a lot of the chips were shriveled up and dark brown. My guess is that the fryer needs to be cleaned and fresh oil used more frequently.
Ambience: The music was overly noisy to have a conversation with your friends, but I guess that's because on Thursdays music is the highlight.

I did find the chicken a bit dry, so I probably would order something different than next time. we were going to Ancaster theatre and I learned later that there’s a discount offered if you are attending theater, but I don’t believe we got a discount because I didn’t ask for one, so that was unfortunate.

Our party of 4 loved everything! The only flaw was the appetizer of the trio of pork tacos. They tasted amazing but my daughter had ordered this as her main & it really wasn’t enough. She had asked our waitress how many there were & figured 3 would be fine. She had no idea they were so small. If the waitress would have mentioned the size she would have ordered something else. Our first visit and we really enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. I chose a salad as a side, rather than fries, and was surprised to get a large red salad with pomegranate seeds, grapes, and goat cheese... not the typical garden salad I expected. They even had live entertainment to top it off... a very talented singer with acoustic guitar. Really enjoyed our evening.

First time at Brewer's Blackbird, to meet an old friend I hadn't seen in quite some time. Selected BB as the meeting place for their vegan options and great location, and was very pleasantly surprised at just how good the experience was. Nice selection of in-house brewed craft beers, in small format serving sizes that allowed the opportunity to try them all without having to worry about over-consumption while driving. The paired flight of tacos was really nice, and with one extra full-size taco, the meal size was just right. Service is first rate and very attentive, and the atmosphere of the place has several options - bar with game on TV, quieter back room for more private conversation, a few good corners. Overall, a definite 10 and we'll make this a spot to get together more often!

I realize that you need help in the restaurant, so the service was a little slow. However, the staff took care of us, and they were welcoming and friendly. It was a little loud for us, but we were the oldest people in the restaurant and the acoustics don't work the best for people our age (80). HOWEVER, the hamburger was the best I have ever had and the Lager reminded us of the Hawaiian beer we love. We will definitely return.

Our server was excellent. Pleasant, helpful, available but not intrusive. We were in the back room which was good as we care old and appreciated the quieter space. Also liked that the tables are not crowded.
