Our beautiful restaurant 'Windows' is situated in the Centre for Hospitality at the Rotokauri Campus. It offers you the opportunity to dine in peaceful surroundings with a semi-rural backdrop.

Frequently Asked Questions- Is there parking available?
- Please park your vehicle in the new visitor carpark off Gilchrist Street. This is allocated to visitors (2 hour maximum). You do not need a permit when using a visitor car park. If these are full, or you are going to be longer than 2 hours, You will need to pay & display while parking in any staff/student area. Disability parks are available as per the map also. Buses and large vans can park in the service bay marked with the yellow lines just past the main door to L Block.
- When will the restaurant be open in 2025?
- Wednesday dinner run from 19 Feb 2025 until 30 April 2025 and then start on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19th of August until 13 November 2025. Tuesday and Thursday lunches start 6 May 2025 until 7th of August 2025 when it switches to Wednesdays from 29 October 2025 until 3rd of December 2025 when the restaurant will close down for Christmas break.
- Will there be any banquets in 2025?
- Yes, there will be three themed banquets. Mid winter Christmas: 7/5/2025 Join us for traditional kiwi Christmas fare, without the sunburn and mosquitos. Scotland the brave: 21/10/2025 A dram infused journey through the regions of bonnie Scotland. Pirates of the Carribean: 30/10/2025 A culinary discovery of the cuisine in the Caribbean islands.

Although this is a student training restaurant, the experience and quality was better than other restaurants that have qualified and trained staff that I have eaten at.
