We had a lovely Sunday lunch on a beautiful sunny day. Despite being very busy the service was good and we did not have to wait for long for our food. We find it a very good stopping off point on the way home on the 303 as the staff are very good and there is a good selection of food on the menu

We were visiting the area on holiday and came across this great looking village pub/restaurant.
The great food and service loved up to our expectations. Good value for the money.

Fabulous food! This was our second visit and really enjoyed it.
Our grandson (aged 15) said “this place never disappoints”. He had the Indonesian Fish curry which was really tasty (last time the spicy squid) so is quite an adventurous eater. Our younger grandson had the cod and chips (last time Stilton and cheddar macaroni cheese). We had the steak which was cooked to perfection and very tender. We will be back.

We lived in the area for over 2 years and always wanted to try The Dove In , without having to drive. Have found a 3.5 route on foot ,and definately worth the walk. The owners & staff are attentive , friendly and the food was amazing . The roast Turkey yummy :) We will be walking back ;) thank you
