Brunch is such a great experience at Elk creek. The Breakfast Burrito is my go to favorite, while my wife could make a meal out of just the incredible potatoes. She even brought an extra order home. Brunch is a must do at Elk Creek. The Breakfast Burrito is my favorite with the potatoes being the perfect side dish. My Wife could make a meal out of just the potatoes. They are why she goes. Great staff, interesting traffic outside(buggies) and other patrons make this a wonderful atmosphere. Oh yea, and the beer is darn good as well.

Noise continues to be the biggest factor at the cafe. Sunday brunch isn’t nearly as bothersome but even the larger table made our communication difficult. We do appreciate the addition of some sound suppressors. But the overall experience balances that out. Nice experience.

There is a reason Elk Creek Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants. Food around the table was delicious, and the vegetarian offerings are so tasty, which is sometimes not true at restaurants. Prices are reasonable for the Farm to Table cuisine. Service is exactly right - we were taken care of but didn't feel like servers were hovering. And the beer is the best!

For dinner, lunch, or brunch, the Elk Creek Cafe is a wonderful place. The food is great & carefully prepared (fresh ingredients expertly cooked). And they provide the best & most thoughtful service in the entire area of Centre County, not just Penns Valley. Everyone is very kind. We know this well, as we lived in State College for two decades and moved to Millheim a year ago. We now eat at the Elk Creek Cafe once a week. After all this time, we can confidently say that no restaurant in State College, or in the entire County, is as consistently good and offers such a pleasant & friendly experience as the Elk Creek Cafe does.

asked for rare burger, got slightly pink only. burger too small for bun. bun got soggy quickly; try putting lettuce between bun and burger on both sides. the tomato was a disappointing tasteless winter tomato; you can find much better tasting, altho admittedly smallish winter tomato in the stores now, for the last 2-3 years. the pickles are great!

Our dining experience on Saturday, January 8, 2022, was a 10 as always. Our server was Amanda. She is exceptional as a server. She is very attentive and and helpful. We have had Amanda serve us previously and she always goes above and beyond with attention to any requests we have made. The beer is among our favorite craft brews and the food is a delightful diversion from the usual "pub fare" that is offered at so many local establishments. We appreciate the varied menu. Cannot think of anything that needs improvement at this time. Thank you for a great brew house and restaurant!

We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Food is really good and plenty of it. The menu isn't your typical bar food although some items are; most menu items have a bit of a creative twist. Service is always good, friendly and attentive staff.
