Loved the service and the environment. We really enjoyed the Battle of the Bartenders and would definitely return for another event like this. We have done two wine tastings at the Hall and enjoyed those as well. It was a fun, friendly atmosphere and we liked being able to try out different cocktails. Great value. We eat at Parkville Market about once or twice a month and never knew about the Local. We will definitely come back for just a regular night of food (from downstairs) and drinks. The only disappointment yesterday during Battle of the Bartenders was that we wanted to order food online from Fowl Play and have it brought to our table at the Local. When we were seated the host told us to order online and they would bring it up. When we tried to order online Fowl Play had posted on their online menu as “closed.” We went downstairs and they were open. When we asked them if they could deliver the food order upstairs they said no because there wasn’t a runner provided for the event. In the future this needs to be clarified.
