Bought a wristband for the Crawfish festival and I must say I was a tad disappointed. To me, you got a lot more crawfish and everything else at the Mardi Gras venue vs the Crawfish festival. There wasn’t any sausage in the boxes at the Crawfish festival and the potatoes could have been cooked longer. Also, I thought it was pretty stupid that I couldn’t just grab 3 boxes of crawfish at one time (I was getting some to-go so I could take some home with me); I bought a wristband for unlimited crawfish; it’s not like me just going back in line to get another box and repeating the process was any different vs if the girl would have just given me 3 boxes from the start. For the price I paid for the wristband, 3 boxes was worth the money but I would not have spent $25 for one box. The Mardi Gras venue with the crawfish was much more enjoyable, delicious, and worth the price!!

Was my first time. Did not know seating would be little to none. Found a table for me and four children to sit and eat our crawfish and was immediately bombarded with dirty looks and a childish “someone is sitting here”. That was annoying so we ended up just taking our crawfish to go.

We have enjoyed supporting the camp over the last few years at both Christmas and Mardi Gras and have bought annual king cakes from there. However this experience I was very disappointed in the quality and service of the bar. I paid $16 for a hurricane which was filled to the brim with ice and contained hardly of the actual drink itself. Upon confronting the bar staff about this there were zero efforts made to resolve this issue and was treated rudely. Rather, we were essentially told that’s how it is. This does not match up to our previous years experiences where we left more than satisfied with the quality/quantity of the drinks. When paying a premium for food and drinks this left much to be desired and the staffs response was really off-putting, ultimately resulting in us ending our visit early. We love the atmosphere the camp provides as it is unique, however overall value for this visit was highly impacted and will cause us to reconsider next time we find ourselves planning to go.

Really love the camp as I frequent often. The waitress was nice. The decor and the feel of Mardi Gras was nice also. Although I did not get all what I paid for. The t.v. was not on. I was suppose to receive 6 bags of chips received 2 at first and had to ask for more which was only given 2 more. Had to ask for the 6 pralines and was only given 4. I was told that they ran out. We were given a piece of king cake instead. If someone reserved the space for $200 the products paid for should be reserved and available for them. As advertise we were suppose to get swag and beads. The beads were there but the only swag there was us! Nice atmosphere but if you are going to charge that high amount of money please make sure the people get what was paid for.

Amazing day. Great food, music, and weather. Couldn’t ask for better. Definitely coming back next year. Two things could make it better: having another Louisiana-related festival in the fall and having LJz backyard bayou serving food there.

Highly disappointed with the whole event. It was advertised as all you can eat crawfish, starting at 11 AM. But the event lasted to midnight? And the all you can eat crawfish was advertised to be available during the event. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were told that the all you can eat crawfish was gone. VERY DISAPPOINTING! We were told we could have the $15 boxes that were 2lbs. But I paid for the all you can eat, which was $25. And not one person offered to refund me. Not one person! Also, when I asked if we could have an additional box, even though there was more to be handed out, we were told no. I won’t go back!!! And I won’t tell my friends to go back! I was so disgusted with the experience that we left after 20 minutes. I’ve been to many events at The Camp and was excited to attend this one. But it was a huge let down. And I’ll be letting everyone know!!

It wasn't clear what line was for food and which line was for armbands/ticket sells. The food line moved quickly, when food was available. The ctawfish plates were inconsistent. Sometimes you had corn sometimes not. Sometimes there was a potato included sometimes not. The paper towels on the tables were great, however they were never replenished once they ran out. There weren't enough tables available. The live music was amazing. Better organization would be appreciated for future events.

Excellent crawfish, great music, and the potential to be an epic event. The lines though were intolerable. Just another cool and another agent at check in would make a big different next year.

We got the VIP package and it advertised a heater. It should have said a tiny slight chance of heat flowing your way because it was soooooooooooooooo cold! The place is neat but I will NOT ever pay for the VIP again.

The event was horribly planned and executed. There was nowhere near enough staff and equipment to provide for an all you can eat event. I pre-ordered my wristband and still had to wait 1&1/2 hours in line to get said wristband. Then had to stand in another line for 45 minutes to get some food. After I had eaten only 3 trays I was told that the next batch of crawfish would be ready in another 45 minutes and that was the last to be cooked... It was 6 pm... The food I did receive was however cooked and seasoned very well, so that was a bright spot. This event could be a great experience but needs much better planning, organization, and execution.

I’ve never been to a crawfish boil where sausage wasn’t part of the boil. This was the part I was looking forward to the most, as my wife was going to eat my crawfish (dont worry, she paid for her bracelet too.) Plus, the lack of corn and potatoes served was a disappointment as well. I would not attend again if the boil doesn’t have sausage and more potatoes and corn.
