We went to the restaurant this time on a Tuesday evening...and was greeted as usual by the super friendly team.
It was nicely busy when we arrived but service was appropriately attentive and we never felt rushed or ignored, for that matter.
We chose tuna sashimi, prawn ngiri, california roil and dragonb roll (awesome!), all washed down with cool crisp Japanese beer...very nice.
Magda hosted us...attentive, very friendly and welcoming...we ended up being the last in the restaurant, but no pressure to leave.
A great evening out...again!

PS...always the "go to" place for sushi takeaway platters, and always superb...my daughter is already pestering me for the next home delivered platter!

The food here was excellent. Sashimi was super fresh and well presented. All the courses were of a very high standard and delicious. For a Japanese place we thought it wasn't atall expensive. Service was good and attentive and we will certainly return.

We booked online for 7 pm. When we arrived the restaurant was busy and when I commented on this the waiter mentioned that a lot of people had arrived much earlier than their booking time. We expected a long wait but were pleasantly surprised that everything arrived promptly. The waiter was exceptionally efficient and pleasant and despite being run off his feet remained calm and good humoured. He really is a credit to the restaurant and kept everything running smoothly despite many customers arriving early. The only thing I would say was missing was that on the booking form I was asked if it was a special occasion and noted that it was our wedding anniversary. No mention was made of this so it appeared a pointless exercise, however, it did not detract from a great meal. We would not hesitate to return and full marks to the lovely waiter.

There were 3 of us in the party. Our starters which were for sharing were the prawns on skewers (4 pieces given); tofu (5 given) and gyoza (5 given). It would have been better to have an option to serve the starters that were divisible by 3 so we could have had the same quantity of each starter course. Apart from the above everything else was great.
