Cold ... Everyone had their coats on. Took away from experience. Need to add winter selection of hot drinks (hot cider, toddy, plus coffee and hot tea). I knew warm drinks weren't offered, so brought my own hot tea. Dinner was great. Only issue was sauce on Veggie platter fritters was very salty. Fritters were plenty salty, sauce compounded saltiness.

Timber is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the area. I’m so glad that we finally have something with a sophisticated pallet, instead of just another variation of cracker barrel. I love the idea of the outside tents, as I have a toddler and am still not comfortable taking her into a restaurant. The only suggestion I have would be to change out the gas heaters for little electric space heaters, because you almost get nauseous being in that enclosed space with the gas fumes.

This was our second time to Timber. The only complaint is that we ordered trout spread the first time and it was delicious but the second time it had changed to salmon spread and it wasn’t near as good. It was hard to spread and not as flavorful. Also, I ordered lettuce wraps both times and the first time I received 4 but the second time I only received 3. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meals and the service was great both times. We will be back.

Waitress was not very attentive. Menu pricing did not match what was charged. Cola said free refills but bill charged for each refill. Small portions for price but taste and presentation was excellent. Tables are extremely close together. Hard to have a private conversation even whispering.

We loved this place. The food was delicious and came out of the kitchen quickly. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere with attentive servers. We enjoyed every bite. Even the saltine crackers that came with the smoked trout dip appetizer were especially yummy! Tried to make reservations for 4 and were unavailable so went as a couple. We were seated in a booth for 4! I kind of hate that we weren’t able to take our friends but we will be back soon.

On Oct 25 we tried to make a reservation at 5:30 for a 6:30 seating for 5 people but were told the earliest available was 8pm. We got to the restaurant at 6:30 and there were several tables that could accommodate us inside. The restaurant was never more than 30% full. The system may be turning away diners. We might not have come but we really wanted to eat here. I would check the system.

The Farro and Fennel salad was killer! I will definitely be going back and ordering this one; probably sooner than later.The flavors really worked well together.
The brussel sprouts were delicious, but a little heavy handed on the sauce; but I was made aware that next time I can just get the sauce on the side.
Our server, Mads, was wonderful. Her timing was perfect and she had the patience of a saint when answering many questions we posed to her. She was knowledgeable and informative. Overall, a great experience.

The people at Timber! are a class act. My only complaint is that the main heater in our tent didn’t work (it’s quiet and out of the way). They got us a replacement immediately, but unfortunately it was super loud. Technical issues are out of their hands and they had a solution quickly. Just took away from the vibe a little.
