We really enjoyed our afternoon tea. Lovely selection of fresh sandwiches, warm scones, jam and clotted cream and a slice of cake with a pot of tea . Situated in an oak framed barn with a garden centre on site to peruse the plants and accessories. We will definitely return.

Fabulous lunch and really very friendly and helpful staff. Meals delicious. Rather small Brie and bacon melt which cost approx £7 for one slice of toast 2 slices of bacon and a very thin few slices of brie. Although accompanied by a salad it was much smaller than our other lunches. On the whole realky lovely lunch. Will definitely visit again.

I love it here. Parking… Indoor and outdoor seating, quiet relaxing atmosphere, great selection of food and drink…including vegetarian and vegan! The staff are lovely and accommodating…breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee and cake… perfect

Visited for lunch with family members for my Dad’s 88th birthday. Welcomed as soon as we arrived, Dad offered a free drink for his birthday. Order taken efficiently and food (which was delicious) arrived promptly. I had pre-ordered a birthday cake, this was fantastic and my Dad was delighted when they brought it out and sang ‘Happy Birthday’. We had a lovely lunch and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely return.

Brilliant food. We had a gift token for tea. Wow.... Sandwiches of choice, scones, jam and cream and a choice of cake. The carrot cake was lovely.
Nice open area socially distanced. The garden shop had lots of interesting articles for sale.

I have been a few times and usually have an enjoyable time. Most of the staff are very friendly and efficient. It would be nice if all the staff were and not let down by one person who can be quite grumpy every time. Unfortunately, having booked online with book a table, when we arrived the staff had no knowledge of our booking. Luckily there was enough tables available for us to have a seat. The food is usually made well and nicely presented. I would recommend the tearooms and will return again soon.

bit of confusion when we arrived as we had prebooked for lunch we were given a reserved table and few mins later asked to move to another table. we were told the Lasagne had mushrooms in it but none in mine. All very acceptable but on the high price.

We were not greeted on arrival and had to stand at the counter for ages before being acknowledged and told where our table was - we were not shown to it, even though we had reserved a table. The cakes and hot beverages were delicious and well-presented but there were too many people crammed onto too many tables and no social distancing, so we did not feel comfortable or covid-safe. Hand gel was provided and the staff were wearing face masks.
