Had an excellent meal after visiting the Marlowe Theatre. There were 8 of us and we could not have been looked after better. Our waiter and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and we all had great food and a fun evening. I really appreciated it when I asked for 2 ice creams and espressos and 2 affogatos were provided even though they weren’t on the menu. Thank you.

We were visiting Canterbury for the weekend and booked a table for 19:30 having read good reviews online. It was a bit busy when we first arrived and had a short delay getting a table but we were greeted and offered a free glass of Prosecco while we waited. However we only had to wait a few minutes before we were seated and went on to have a really fantastic meal. The place was packed l, I’m sure it’s a testament to the quality of the food and service and we had a great time. i would definitely book again if revisiting Canterbury l. Highly recommended.

Friendly welcome on arrival and delicious food. Only comment would be to make it clear the seemingly free bread put in the table quite a while before the food was served was partly for the mezze platter. By the time the platter was served (which was supposed to come with bread) all the bread had been eaten and we had to ask for some more. What else were we supposed to eat the 3 dips with! Think they could have just served more bread.

We enjoyed our meal and drinks and the food was nice. It wasn't very busy which is why I think it lacked a little bit of ambience. I think the dress code for some of the staff should be looked at, without being too old fashioned it doesn't give a very good impression but that's just my opinion. Overall we had a nice, relaxing meal and we would go back again.
