First visit. Was a lovely place. Food was absolutely amazing. The perfect Roast. The Desert was to die for..sticky toffee pudding and lashings of custard. Will definitely be going back.

Four of us had 4 different mains and 4 different puddings. All were excellent. I had a really good vegetarian cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake. So many places cater for vegans and don’t seem to understand that we vegetarians like dairy products! Vegetarians are not vegans! So full marks for a delicious vegetarian meal! Staff were very friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our visit.

Cheff looked like she didn't want to be there, staff looked like they had no job satisfaction in them, apart from the young lady with black hair she was brilliant happy and smiling and really made our lunch anniversary great, as the food was ok but what's written on menu dose not come on your plate as described.

Very quiet on a sunny Saturday lunchtime which we found a little strange on first arrival, but staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Excellent range of food options. We all enjoyed our lunch. Traditional pub in lovely setting. Bar area lovely, the garden was sadly a little tired/neglected we felt which was a shame to not be attracting more trade on such a beautifully sunny day. Would like to try this place again at a busier time.

We went for Mother in Laws 80th Bday lunch on a Bank Holiday Monday. Restaurant was quiet however service was slow and I had to find waiter for desserts. Staff were polite and food was good value

Ok. More expensive (17,95 plus 2,50 for all meats), no pork, plenty of vegetables, but worth the trip. Yesterday it was Kind of empty at 1 pm.
