Beer and food were excellent, all home made food which was tasty and well presented. Marked down on atmosphere as we were the only patrons in the pub which was odd given how good the food and beer was. Definitely coming back and have recommended to others.

We have not been to the Fountain for sometime but it was much improved, service was a little slow ,waitress lacked a little confidence but friendly and pleasant food was good ,special steaks you get what you pay for!

Lovely pub. Really friendly and efficient staff. The food was superb. Had the Sunday roast which was a lovely big portion and really well cooked. will definitely be coming again.

Needed somewhere to eat so read several reviews, Fountain had a very recent review and had rave reviews for roast potatoes with Sunday roast. Staff brilliant, beer in top condition, great place to eat. Sorry potatoes were not fluffy, were not crisp and so were a complete disappointment. They were cooked but instead of being a highlight were a dampener.
Pub great and well worth a visit for beer, food and staff. If they highlight a review then they have to live up to it.
