Had a lovely meal in a fabulous setting. The food was well presented and locally sourced. The staff were also very friendly. Only minor issue was we could not have a desert as the chief leaves at 3pm and our booking was for 2.30pm

Due to Covid we decided to get our food as a takeaway from Woolpack. We were more than happy with the quality of the food which was served on their own plates. We certainly recommend the Woolpack and the service from John was outstanding. The only reason Ambience is lower is due to the fact that we couldn't eat in the restaurant which was our choice during Covid. Well done John and the team, a really super meal and experience.

We sat outside - beautiful sun trap. Well looked after by waiting staff. They were able to adjust our food choice to suit a dietary need of one of the party. Food was good pub grub.

Staff could not have been more helpful. We were a party of 8. One has very special allergies but they were vert accommodating and her meal was excellent. 6 out of 8 meals were delicious and very good value , sadly the 2 mussels were not at all good. The staff willingly replaced them but replacements still not at all good, and remained uneaten.
The coffee was extremely weak.
Very good value. Will definitely return.

We have enjoyed eating at the Woolpack over several years. The ‘pub’ aspect has gone and the atmosphere is now more like a hotel lounge
The food however is good although slow between ordering and service
