Visited on Friday night. Had a reservation. They let us stay longer than the 3hr allotment time which was super sweet. Good game selection. Food was fantastic. Prices were phenomenal. Loved the place. Low score on ambience only because the music wasn’t our jam but I’m sure they would have taken requests because Shawn was so nice to us! 10/10 and we will return.

Hi Evelyn, glad to hear everything was good food and service wise. Sorry to hear that you were shocked by your checkout price though. The prices are listed beside each item on our menu, taxes extra. Many sometimes forget that there is also the cost of $6/person to play board games, so for the 2 of you that did add $12 plus tax to your bill perhaps that is where the shock comes in. Many other board game cafes are currently charging $7 or even $8/person.- Overall: 8/10

I have never experienced any issues with coffee or food anywhere but the latte that I had gave me extreme stomach pain. it had a chemically taste to it, it was honestly a 2/10 . i would not be coming here again because the prices are too high and quality isn't to par. but the music was great. Overall i give it a 5/10

Hi Amina, So sorry to hear about your experience. If your coffee tasted off we wished you'd had let us know something when you were present and we could have tried to address it then. Two others of your party also had lattes. Did they experience any issues? We use 2% milk in all our lattes, espresso beans from a local coffee roaster and our water that feeds our espresso machine is Reverse Osmosis treated. So, it is a very high quality water content in the espresso. You were in on an event night, one of our busiest nights of the week with 80% of the guests being weekly customers, many of whom order the exact drinks you had and none mentioned anything to us about bad coffee or lattes or anything being off that night. We are sorry you had this experienced. This is not indicative of our service or quality. Our coffee prices are in line with other similar coffee shops. Some of our drinks are even actually less than our suppliers cafes charge for the same. Our price would have also included the $6 per person game play fee to play our board games which sometimes people forget to consider when looking at the bill total.- Overall: 8/10

excellent staff, great game selection, good food and drink. Only complaint is that it was incredibly hot. We went outside several times to cool down and actually left early cause it was hard to concentrate. I'd rather put a sweater on than bake when playing a game.

Hi Barbara, sorry for your experience and thanks for your review. As we mentioned to you when you left and let us know, we did unfortunately have an unexpected surge of people at the same time so the temperature can spike with the added body temperature when that happens. Our HVAC does have an auto-adjust setting but it does require a 5º temperature window. As we're coming out of winter, the A/C was set to heat to 73ºF unfortunately, that means the A/C doesn't kick in until 78ºF. Checking with some other customers based on your comments after you left they were okay but we did adjust the thermosat as it was 76º in there. As we move to the warmer weather it's set to cool at 73/74ºF and the heat doesn't kick in until 69ºF. We can definitely make your stay more comfortable while you're here, just let us know next time before checking out. We would have happily adjusted the thermostat to make things more comfortable for you. Sometimes, we are just so busy and are hot anyways from moving so we don't think to check unless someone mentions something. Hope your next visit is more comfortable.- Overall: 7/10

The cafe was very modern and clean. Lots of fun games to try! Service, however, was painfully slow. Only one server working for a packed house. Perhaps a different system where people go up on the their own for drinks would suit better, similar to a brewery. Trivia seemed fun, but the speaker system was a little wonky, so bass was up really high and his voice reverberated in a weird way, making it distracting. Will try again on a non trivia night!
