I am moving from Cranbrook next week after loosing my husband in a motorcycle accident in June we always chose your restaurant as the food and service was always outstanding I made sure to come and have one more fantastic dinner with friends and was not disappointed the meal for all three of us was delicious our server was very good and when I come back for a visit your place will definitely be a must do thank you for 17 years of great memories with my husband on our special dates for anniversary and birthdays

It was perfect last night! The waitress is wonderful! The music was exceptional! My girlfriend even got to hear the nan seated behind her telling his friends all these wonderful stories. She said he was a talented storyteller, she compared him to Hemingway. Every time we go there we leave utterly and completely satisfied. We will definitely be back. The 8 for ambiance should not be seen as a negative response as everything is clean, comfortable etc. Howeve,r the location belies the fact that you have such an awesome restaurant. Our third visit. As before, the menu is full of delicious looking and interesting options. Our meals were very good and the service is a nice blend of casual yet very attentive. We love the size and layout which gives enough room to enjoy quiet conversation. Our only complaint is it can be chilly inside with the door opening directly to cold winter weather. Some kind of alcove or screen there would help.

We love coming to Allegra as we have never had a bad experience. FYI prior to lighting the flambé it would be a good idea to make sure that there aren’t people on oxygen in the vicinity. We had shut mine off so it was not an issue but it could be devastating.

Despite all the tables pretty much filling up all at once and the server's being incredibly busy; we had terrific service! And the appetizers and meals were absolutely delicious! Never having been to Allegra I was so surprised when I walked in. The atmosphere was very welcoming as was the staff. Next surprise was the menu. So many items to choose from which made it very difficult for me to choose. All our choices was beyond all our expectations. The staff’s professionalism was above anything you would expect. They were there before you realized you needed anything. Our young woman was truly a professional and showed it. Definitely will be back to try all the items on the menu that caught my attention.

What I chose to order for my main course didn't quite suit my liking. The parmesan egg coating on the chicken cutlet was quite soggy for my taste. I guess I thought it would be a little crispier. Everything was tasty though. Service was excellent.
