Recommended by mgr @ hyvee fast & fresh in Chillicothe Mo (no name). Said it was the best. He was not lying. Wine was “a good pour” (my wife) the waitress was super friendly & efficient; wait time was about right. We both had the filet. The absolute best in our memory. Potatoes & veggies were great too. We got an okey gooey to go & wow. If we return we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a 10/10 experience!

Loved - ambiance wonderful till the room was full and became utterly noisy.
Food - crab cake great, the voodoo pasta never had any lobster, had shrimp & scallop. The broccolini was raw, had to use a steak knife to cut it. The wonton chip for the spinach dip excellent vehicle for the dip.

We were there to celebrate a birthday in February and were impressed with everything so we decided to celebrate our 18th anniversary in March back at the Tavern at Trails End. My wife ordered the same thing she did in February, side Caesar's salad and the mussels because they were both fantastic. I decided to try the Sunday Fried Chicken. It came with green beans and red smashed potatoes with duck fat gravy. The chicken was not greasy at all from the frying. Delicious. Only thing there was very little gravy on the chicken and the potatoes so I asked for a bit more gravy. I was surprised that I was charged an additional $1.50 for a small container of gravy. I have asked for this type of thing in countless other restaurants and have never seen an add-on charge. Oh well. Also we had a different server this time, Bethany. She was also friendly and attentive. Finally I will add that we are sad to see the bartender, Michael, leaving the establishment to move to Seattle.

This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Food was excellent!. Mia, our server, was very personable, attentive and fun to talk with. Everyone we met were very nice. Wish the bar was bigger so get there early.

Specials were outstanding, both the Scallops and the Steak Specials were excellent. Service was also the best, Mia took very good care of our table of 6 and gladly split our bill by couples. Thank You for a great evening out!
