Shocking experience!
Starter and 1 main served at the same time and server had forgot to order the other main.
After asking if my main could be taken back and both mains to be served together I was told No as it wasn't the chefs fault.
Consequently I has to eat Main and starter together while my partner had to wait for her main. Not the best eating experience

Went for my graduation meal, waited 2 and a half hours for starters, no real urgency among staff members, was continually told to wait another ‘ten minutes’ and to say sorry for leaving after we had enough waiting we generously received £5 off…..

At 5pm we made an online booking for a table at 8pm, the booking asks you to specify food & drinks or just drinks - we selected food. We arrived at 8pm and were seated and given food menus to browse. We ordered drinks and then were told the kitchen closes early on a Thursday so we couldn't have food. Why were we given menus on arrival if the kitchen was already closed? And why was our booking accepted, which specified we wanted to eat? If it had been rejected we could have made other arrangements, but by that time it was too late so we went home. A very disappointing trip.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, it was someone's first shift and she was very helpful and anything she was unsure of she went and found out the answer. The food was nice, but we all ordered starters and half of the starters were brought out at the same time as someone's main course, so we couldn't have the starters together. The rest of the starters arrived with the main meals which was fine, but not what we expected. The restaurant itself is lovely, I love the decor and the vibe. Overall, the staff were nice and I enjoyed my experience, I think with just small improvements I would give a higher rating

We were in the restaurant for over 2.5 hrs waiting for food (only main and dessert).
We did get money off the bill and the staff were very apologetic but it was an incredibly long wait. It took over 1.5hrs to get our main (no starters) and staff were stood around behind the bar, we weren't updated until we asked

Thoroughly enjoyable Saturday afternoon. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were made to feel safe which in turn created a relaxing environment. Cappuvino is one of my favourite coffee bars in Lancaster so I will definitely return again, especially with the new addition of outdoor seating!

A little disappointed with level of service. On arrival lady seemed puzzled when we said we had booked a table. Told to just sit anywhere, would have expected a reserved table. Also had to ask to order as orders taken from customers who arrived after us. Food was very good though.

I had booked a table for our family Christmas Eve tea after the panto, I had rung prior to our booking to say we may be late due to the panto over running and I left my contact details, but when we got to the restaurant we were told their would be no main courses - I was gutted not to have been told this before we got there! We had a 7 year old who was hungry and giddy! So having to find somewhere else to eat was not ideal! I really wished someone had rung as we also left the panto early so we didn’t miss our reservation! I had such a lovely experience when I went to cappuvino with friends in November - I couldn’t wait to share the experience with my family! I totally understand with Covid around that things can change quickly but all it would have taken was a call! I will bring my family back in the new year (Boris permitting) and hope we have a super time!

The food was really good and the staff were lovely but think that some training on what is and isn't appropriate to say to customers might be required. Was a teeny bit offended that the waitress commented that we had anhilated our food, she was surprised we had managed such a big portion and she could only eat half the amount! If you don't want people to eat it all, don't put it on the plate! And don't comment on how much someone has eaten unless they've left most of the meal to check if all was OK. Clear plates should be a compliment but felt more like we were being told we were greedy!

Arrived 20 minutes early, The host was very polite and greated me at the entrance, took my temp, showed me the sanitised station before taking me to my seat.
Ambiance as always was impeccable, the staff and service worthy of top class recognition, nothing is ever to much.
My drink selections where met with comedic whit and industry knowledge which for me made all the difference, to surmise Cappavino ticks all the boxes for me as a top tier bar and coffee roaster.
Clean, well managed, well trained staff, 1st class service and drinks but more importantly it feels safe, well done on re opening Miguel and the team well done.

I don’t feel I can rate it as we were turned away unfortunately. I booked for 5 people (there was nowhere to specify we were from more than 2 households but new there are outside tables and thought should be fine). When we arrived, the lady said we’d have to sit outside but that there was no space. (There was space outside but it wasn’t for 5 people together). We said we’d wait but she said the kitchen shut at 7 so we couldn’t wait either. I have to say I was really disappointed as I LOVE Cappuvino and have been raving to my friends about it (hence why I booked it for us as none of them had ever been). It was very embarrassing telling them the table I had booked was not available and having to find somewhere else. I completely understand that larger groups/ groups of more than 2 households should sit outside however I think this needs to be clear on the booking form to avoid embarrassment. I had simply presumed as there was no mention of it that we would be seated outside (being a larger group). I of course will be back because my other experiences have been great. Sadly I’m not sure I can say the same for my friends who have nothing else to go by.
