Dry good food excellent. Will certainly recommend
Love the Sunday lunch always freshly cooked, lots of tasty veg and a generous helping in relaxing environment
As always a safe pleasant good meal at a decent price.
I always enjoy visiting Dahlias. The food is always lovely and it is served by friendly staff. I wouldn't change anything.
Booking by their web page is easy and clear to understand. Food is freshly cooked when ordered, can seem to be a little slow because of this from ordering to receiving your meal. Overall I have not any bad experience with their food. Depending on numbers present from entering to service and ordering sometimes can seem a little slow. Overall quite happy with their service and the value of their
Amazing food as always!!
Lovely place, the staff are brilliant, chatty and friendly. The food cooked by Shawn is lovely and really tasty and definetly filling and allways a good price.... Would really recommend Dahlias to everyone.......
Lovely food lovely friendly staff definitely look forward to Sunday s now
The cheese and onion pie didn't appear to have any taste of cheese at all more pastry and potato than anything. .I have had it before at Dahlias and it was lovely...so I was dissapointed. Apart from that everything was lovely thank you
But disappointed with the sausages and the mushrooms. Other than that it was great.
As always, even with current social distancing etc. You've got it right, enjoyable experience.
As always the food is well prepared and service is excellent. With 50% off with the Eat out to Help out scheme this is now phenomenal value......you’d be very hard pressed to exceed the £20 limit for this scheme at Dahlias!
FABULOUS, LOVE DELIAHS, ITS GOT 100% BETTER.. THANKYOU
Great experience couldn’t have asked for better
Love it here!
Fantastic food, great service, felt very comfortable 1st class
Absolutely beautiful afternoon tea for my mother’s birthday, could not fault anything! Thank you so much
We dined on Wednesday 5th Aug early evening. A nice warm welcome on arrival and escorted to our table. An extensive menu to choose from - freshly prepared food to order, well presented and tasting great. Attentive friendly service throughout. What more can you ask for!
Brought my elderly parents who have been shielded since lockdown began. Could not have taken them to a better place for their first day out. Food excellent and staff helpful and friendly. They both want to go again!!
Got our bill mixed up with other tables and initially charged us wrong amount . Other than that first class . The food is outstanding .
Fantastic food and staff. Thank you!
Love this place !! Good value for money , very friendly , clean , the cake counter is amazing!!!
Best goats cheese salad delicious Excellent all day breakfast Would most certainly recommend We will definitely be back 10/10
It was only lacking ambience because it was so quiet. The staff went out of their way to reassure us that they were doing everything to ensure our safety. Will definitely be back
Very nice in deed. 3 friends not seen each other since lockdown and we had lots to catch up on we were not rushed and the service was great. One of us was vegan and soya milk was provided and nothing was too much trouble
Perfection on a plate again! Thank you all - we will be back - Liz
We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch although I think the portions were a bit over generous. Service good and staff all coped well working under the regulations/guidelines. We will definitely be returning.
Staff nice and friendly, food very good.
It was very nice and we enjoyed the experience.
Consistently a good experience. If it was nearer home I’d go every week! Highly recommended
Staff were lovely, very helpful and polite
All excellent Thsbk you
Loved the time it took and the speed of the coffee whilst we waited. Lovely Cappucino. Enjoyed sitting outside but under cover
Good to see the place so busy after the lockdown, Can't wait for the "2 for 1" breakfast to be reinstated, Still good value and well done!
Our Sunday lunch was lovely and good value for money, as usual. The restaurant was quite busy with people also eating outside, enjoying the sunshine. We felt safe as the restaurant had followed the guidelines for covid19. We really enjoyed our first eating out experience since lock down
very good meal, well social distanced. dessert from the cake bar, massive and delicious had to take them home to finish off. Well worth the effort getting there.
I would definitely come again.
Had a good meal , they were busy and could of done with more staff as had to wait over 20 mins for getting drinks and order taken . Meal was great staff pleasant .
The service was slow?? It wasn’t particularly busy, but the staff were pleasant and kept apologising. My husband couldn’t eat his full English breakfast which he had been looking forward to. All the food on the plate looked as if it had been under a heater for a while and forgotten about! He complained when it was time to pay and got a refund which was acceptable. The staff are not quite ‘working together’ and ‘communicating’ when they allow this kind of thing to happen. Such a shame. We have enjoyed coming over the years. The Restaurant, staff and the atmosphere are great.... but dried up, tasteless, food?? Not good.
a good expoerience. I will return. thank you
Staff friendly, cvd19 implentations worked well & hand gel on each table was a nice touch. Decor & ambience lovely. Food was good but not hot enough. Pet hate of mine, stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds before it comes out, nobody would ever know. We were the only ones in first thing on a Sunday morning so no reason for it to be luke warm. Coffee's were hot though so that was nice. Would have liked to have butter on the toast rather than margarine & I know this is picky but it was spread in a rush, half the toast had nothing on it. Make sure the food & drinks are piping hot & there's nothing much to complain about here. Thank you.
Comfortable, clean and tidy, especially adhering to Covid restrictions. Unfortunately one of our meals was a pizza that was served in a burnt condition. We queried this and were told "that's how it came". Eventually we did get a replacement pizza and that and our other 3 meals were delicious.
We were very pleased thank you we will be back
Good meals, friendly staff,, lovely place to go , nice atmosphere, Service took a long time, and two missing teaspoons for coffee, Apart from that a lovely place.
The good was great. The only area I’d say could improve was the service. We had to ask how to order (it would be better if someone explained what to do during the current circumstances) and then ask for someone to come over and order.
So glad to see Dahlias reopen. I took my friend for her birthday afternoon tea. The room was busy not too comfortable the table behind us was far away enough. The tea was lovely. Scones not baked had to wait. Red hot when they arrived. When I cut into mine is was not baked through and soggy in the middle. The spray cream had melted into liquid. Sure we had clotted cream on a previous visit. I told the waitress who apologised but no replacement offered. Spoilt an otherwise nice tea.
Unfortunately the steak pudding was possibly over cooked as it was very hard to put your knife through. All other food was fine and service was good. Social distancing was in place and hygiene was very good.
