The lunch time menu was extremely good value with portions larger than expected, each dish was hot and full of flavour. The best part of the experience was the serving staff, they were all friendly and attentive, they never felt as though they were ‘going through the motions’ as in some other restaurants.

This restaurant is a gem. Great service, food, value, and vibe. Always accommodating for adults and young children. For example, my daughter (aged 5) was given crayons and a colouring-in mat and our table was child friendly - great experience. Thank you. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our visit. Have been multiple times in the last few years. Food never disappoints. The only thing I would mention is the service charge. I didn't see anywhere where I was made aware that this would be added to the bill. Personally I would prefer to tip what I thought instead of being charged.

Just been to La Turka and had a selection of meze and a pesto and chilli garlic bread which was ammmmazing! The meze were all piping hot and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Connor was particularly marvellous.

First time visit and had a great experience. The staff greeted us at the door and were friendly and attentive. We were served quickly despite it being busy and the food was delicious. I am a vegan and they were very knowledgeable about the food on the menu that was appropriate for me. Felt very well looked after without being too intrusive. Absolutely love la turka (rawtenstall) , we visit literally about 3 times a months. The food is amazing and the staff cant do enough for you. We tell all our friends about yourselves and they have been and think the same as ourselves.

We had a lovely evening, the food was delicious and the service amazing. A big shout out to the young lady who took my order for coffee - she wasn't sure whether you could make a mocha but was very honest and said that she was just being shown how to make coffee but was sure that she had heard the word 'mocha' bring thrown about. She made it and it was delicious. All of your waiting staff are a credit to your restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant meal. Top class service. Only one very small criticism, I don't like the fact that a service charge is already on the bill. I like to tip well for good service. I don't bother when the charge is already made. Personally I think it should be down to the customer. Apart from that highly recommend this gem of a place.

The food was very good, albeit a little on the small side. However I was very surprised to be charged £5 for 'advice about allergies' when I all I did was ask the waiter if my daugher could have chicken and chips (instead of rice). I didn't realise I had been charged at the time or I would have enquired about it. It was my friend who told me after we'd left. I have never in any café or restaurant been charged for asking about food allergens, and I didn't anyway. It's a bit much and will put me off coming back.

Please stop adding the service charge to the bill. The noise levels where we sat were uncomfortable, (in the front at the side of the kitchen). We will visit again but we would request to sat somewhere elsewhere. The food and service where very good. Thank you.

Friendly & helpful staff. We were upstairs with one other party so difficult to comment on atmosphere but background music was too loud for my liking. Think food is reasonably priced but drinks seem expensive & don’t agree with service charge being automatically added to the bill.

Excellent service from the staff ! Competitively priced .
Would prefer my lamb to be a little less well done but that was literally the only thing I can say that has a slightly negative angle on things. Goof value, lovely restaurant, plenty of choice. House wine 18.95 a bottle which compared to similar local restaurants prices of 26.95 for the house is well priced.

When we arrived, our booking wasn't there. I had the email confirmation but no booking had gone through to La Turka.
Luckily they had space for us, but it was upstairs, meaning we were the only diners, so we did lose the ambiance and buzzing atmosphere that was going on downstairs. However, the service was great and everyone loved the food! Great Pina Colada's too!! We will be back!

Very rowdy table meant we couldn't even talk. Large parties should really be put upstairs so it doesn't spoil enjoyment if other diners.

Food was fab. Service could have been better/faster especially as they wasn’t busy.
Do not appreciate a service charge being added to the bill prior - and them saying we can take it off!!! Especially as this was a table for 2 not a large party!
Was going to ask for it removing out of principle but they couldn’t get the card machines to work properly so just left it!!

Food was nice, staff friendly, however, as I was leaving I was informed that I had to pay more as it had been calculated wrong by member of staff, in hindsight I should have questioned this, put a dampener on what would have been a nice evening
