First time at La Turka but won’t be our last. Every starter and main course we had were fantastic (especially the duck breast). The deserts were good but not as good as what came before. The staff were excellent and were attentive so we never waited for drinks like can happen at some places. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place for a great meal out

I booked a table at 4pm, I arrived before my party and got a drink and sat down waiting.
They arrived at 4.15pm. Two Other tables arrived at 1625/30 and got. Thier Drinks And food Orders taken before us. I had to ask for the waitress to Give us some drinks. She said wait a minute whilst she brings the other tables order out.
Once she took the order we had been there 25mins. My friends without a drink. There was no bar man to go and buy a drink from either. It's a long time to sit and wait for a drink. Then we order our food. We ate an hour after we arrived... The mains was delious. Cocktails delicious except the classic mojito which I sent back as it had no lime or mint in and tasted like bottom barrel soda Water. The rectifyed mojito was delicious. The deserts came fast and again delicious and once we had been served the lady serving was pleasant chatty and there for our needs. It was a disappointing start but worked out well. I can only. Imagine it was due to the party upstairs however either don't book a full restaurant in with a party at 4pm or get more staff in....
Overall experience food cocktails and atmosphere 10/10 but marked 8 because the service was so poor initially. Not one but 2 tables served drinks And food before us who came In a good 20 mins after us!
I would go again as it is delicious... But I wouldn't book on a party night if that's the service.
Last time it was so brilliant which is why we returned.
