Everything was great apart from drinks service was a little slow. Had to ask where our drinks were!
Other than that we had a great time it’s a beautiful lay out with fabulous staff.
We will be back again.

The service was excellent, staff were very attentive and cleared out empty glasses very quickly.
The food was also delicious, but I would've liked to see it served in reusable plates and cutlery as it is very wasteful to serve everything in takeout boxes (even if some of them seemed to be plastic free packaging).
I found the drinks choice to be a bit disappointing, particularly the non-alcohol drinks. I would've liked to see one or two alcohol-free beers or ciders, or even a mocktail.
We unfortunately had a very rowdy group sat next to us which ruined the ambience a bit, but that was not the business' fault. Overall we had a wonderful time enjoying the sun in this beautiful setting.

Lovely evening with good adherence to covid restrictions in the outdoor area. Staff and service very efficient. The round app worked really well - could be improved by being able to run a tab rather than pay as you go, otherwise great experience. We will be back !

Only 2 things..sat on wall at back so out of the sun...heaters would help but brought our coats so just a comment rarther than complaint.
Only ate a portion of garlic bread. Although we had gone there to eat there was so much on the menu that had sold out we ate elsewhere.

Would have give ten for overall experience, but we were made to sit outside, when there were free tables inside. There was no option when booking a table to choose outside or inside the courtyard. This wasn’t explained, and I had my 70yr old parents with me. Fortunately it wasn’t too cold - Drew x

The venue was OK but as we were at outside the wall it seemed like we were not really in the venue. Service and food was good. The rhubarb IPA was excellent but I was disappointed with the raspberry ripple drink but maybe I misread the description as this really wasn't what is call a beer.

Loved the ambience and the staff were nice. I really enjoy the food at Plau so my expectations were high and this was heightened by the menu. In reality we were both disappointed with what we got - the tiny shrivelled kebab was especially poor. I get the paper box but still think we shouldn’t have to ask for cutlery. Overall though we enjoyed it

The reason why my overall experience is an 8 and not a 10 is because of the following:
- Would have been a better experience if there were more drink options
- Would have been a better experience if the heaters had been installed by the first night.
Overall, loved the courtyard, service was prompt for drinks but food service was slow. Will definitely be coming back as it was a lovely spot in Preston.

The reason the venue didn't get a overall 10 rating is that as we were eating we were surrounded by smokers. I understand the whole area is outside but there was no option for a non smoking area. Food was very good as was the service.
