Grand Lux Cafe, like its sister restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory, fulfills any hunger. The wine list is equally eclectic, including selections from all regions. Dine in or place a to-go order at the retail bakery featuring coffee drinks, pastries, cheesecakes and a variety of Grand Lux-themed merchandise. Although Grand Lux Cafe can accommodate up to 550 people, its design is both intricate and intimate. The architecture and décor of Grand Lux Cafe was inspired by the look and feel of classic Venetian cafes with up to 100 seats available for private dining.

We were both pleasantly surprised with our 2 meals here. The 1st was Tuesday pm after unsuccessful attempts to dine at the trendier restaurants which all had 15-30 minute waits with lots of people milling around in the large hallways. We kept walking & came upon GLC & decided to try it because we were hungry & it was getting close to 8pm. The hostess was welcoming & accommodating to our request for a table & seated us inside the bar area with no wait. We ordered basic American fare that was perfectly prepared. The bread used for the club sandwich was wonderful,& not the typical soft uninteresting bread but it had heft , warm with slight crisp on outside & nice bite. It really elevated the taste of the sandwich.The side salad was fresh & good . The fish & chips were generously portioned with a light crisp breading & perfectly cooked flaky dense fish on the inside. . Our waiter was friendly & fun. The ambience & tables around the bar area are lovely. Plus, it was calm & quiet. Delightful meal! So, the next day we didn’t hesitate to have breakfast the following day. My egg white omelet with mushroom, cheddar, onions & ham plus hash browns was perfection. The eggs were not overcooked & the inside creamy & moist…. simply delicious . It was also not overpowered with salt! The hash browns were light golden, crunch on the exterior & the inside soft & tasted like potato….. also perfectly cooked. My husbands’ food looked equally appetizing & he thought it was excellent as well. Service was efficient with minimal wait despite a full house .
I would highly recommend because the cooks behind the scenes are doing a great job! Thank you. The service out front are welcoming & friendly. What a nice surprise & treat for us.
