While we do NOT charge a cover charge or sell tickets to our shows, beginning Nov 1 we will be instituting a $25 Food and/or Beverage Minimum ($40 on Friday & Saturday nights) per person for all performances. You can view our full food menu on our website at maxanjazz.com. We also have a full bar available in addition to speciality cocktails, and a variety of beers, wines, and sake offerings. We look forward to seeing you soon!
We offer LIVE MUSIC 6 nights a week (we are dark on Tuesdays).

The venue was great, very friendly service, food was exceptional, and The Ronnie Foster Trio topped off the evening with a killer show! I reserved a table for five, but it was not available, so they offered seats at the bar, when we got there, they moved us to a table, awesome! I will definitely be back! Thanks Max!!

The reason for giving ambience an 8 instead of a 10 is because the hostess was told to spray a fragrance into the restaurant, and it interfered with the taste of the food and air quality of the patrons.

Entrance needs work. Cold air blowing in every time the door opened. Cars driving by a total distraction. Good food but expensive. Eating the ceviche with stix was difficult. Need some kind of chips to make it easier to eat. Service was very good. Laura Schaffer was EXCELLENT!
