Our mission is simple. Every day, for every table, for every guest and at every moment. We seek to inspire, create, and connect with the community. Welcome to Monzú Italian Oven + Bar. Chef Giovanni "Gio" Mauro is the owner of Old School Pizzeria in North Las Vegas, an original pizza concept dedicated to Mauro’s “respect for ingredients” philosophy. No commercial yeast, all natural starters, a commitment to fresh and seasonal menu items, and a focus on strong community ties. With his new restaurant concept, Monzú, he hopes to expand upon that philosophy and present a unique and authentic pizza experience to Las Vegas, sharing recipes cultivated from his proud Sicilian heritage. My husband and I went for his birthday and the staff and service were exceptional!
So friendly and welcoming and made it a wonderful celebration! From the beginning starting with there fresh baked bread and ricotta cheese and great cocktails, we had a few different things on the menu and were very fresh and delicious. I would have given 10 stars ⭐️ for food but decided to give them a 9 only for the fact the risotto was very disappointing though they did offer to make something else. Risotto is one of our favorites dishes we make at home and usually order out when in the mood so we’re very familiar with many variations of risotto. They should try other recipes. Other than that hands down wonderful and will definitely make it one of our to go places!

It was disappointing from the professional point of view that I called the restaurant to speak to the manager regarding job vacancy. I’ve got more than 24 years experience at Italian fine dinings and Michelin star restaurants in US as well as London, England. I also am an experienced bartender. The lady who answered the phone was really nice and helpful and connected me to a manager with Spanish accent. I was surprised that in a restaurant of this level such as Monzu, the least professional thing to do, especially for a manager of an establishment like this, to ask for a phone number, in case any openings happen in the future. But all he did was saying we don’t need anyone and hung up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

My wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary last night at Monzu. It was an incredible evening. They treated us like royalty and the food was amazing. We started with their charcuterie mega board for two which was the best cheese and meat appetizer we've ever had. I can't recommend this highly enough. My wife had their risotto which she really enjoyed. I had their Tagliatelle and it was amazing. I seriously consider Monzu the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. My wife says the same. We plan on going back again soon. Enjoy.

The food is absolutely delicious! Our Waitress Cheyenne was wonderful! She was one of the most friendly persons we have ever met, always smiling and extremely attentive to all our needs. She was a true professional! The service overall was outstanding from the entire staff! The Owner/Chef came to our table to introduce himself and ask if everything was fine. Reservations for 5:45 pm on a Friday. Seated right away in the bar area which seemed more intimate than the cavernous main dining area. Cocktails are overpriced but that is almost everywhere we go these days. Great charcutier board with some very interesting bites! Meatballs were tender, tasty and the Antipasti salad was a meal in itself. Service was fine although we did end up waiting overlong for our check at the end. When we left at 7:30-ish the place was packed and there was a line of patrons waiting so make a reservation.

I know a lot of restaurants are going to paperless billing and menus but a lot of use old-timers prefer paper bills at least you still have great menus that we can read instead of doing everything on a phone.
