Chef Giovanni "Gio" Mauro is the owner of Old School Pizzeria in North Las Vegas, an original pizza concept dedicated to Mauro’s “respect for ingredients” philosophy. No commercial yeast, all natural starters, a commitment to fresh and seasonal menu items, and a focus on strong community ties. We had an amazing time. My husband wanted Italian and I’m so happy I stumbled upon Monzú in my search. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was kind and attentive, and the food was incredible. The best Italian food I’ve ever had - and my husband said it was the best next to being in Italy! I definitely recommend. We ordered the olive ascolane, gnocchi, apricot pizza, and the pork belly pisarei e fasó. Everything was delicious! We will be back!!

This was my third time at Monzu since they opened, however it's been over a year since the last time I dined there. I had forgot how wonderful the whole dining experience at Monzu was, from the food, the staff, the atmosphere - everything was wonderful! So wonderful that we have reservations for this coming Saturday again! Truly enjoyed the whole experience!

Going to Monzu is like coming home. Our server, Sierra, was the best in service and personality. She made us all feel welcome. I really enjoyed Monzu and the accommodations they provided for my mother’s dinner. They had a birthday card on the table signed by all of the employees there. Last night my friend and I were celebrating a special event, a prestigious award she won. Thank you for making it a memorable evening for us. Natalia was our server and she was fantastic, and spot-on with her recommendations. The food was superb as always (my husband and I dined with you once previously, but last night was my friend's first time, and she loved her carbonara). I loved my Pollo i Vernizzi and we both loved the Squash Blossoms and Insalata di Giovanni. Thanks again!

My husband and I went for his birthday and the staff and service were exceptional!
So friendly and welcoming and made it a wonderful celebration! From the beginning starting with there fresh baked bread and ricotta cheese and great cocktails, we had a few different things on the menu and were very fresh and delicious. I would have given 10 stars ⭐️ for food but decided to give them a 9 only for the fact the risotto was very disappointing though they did offer to make something else. Risotto is one of our favorites dishes we make at home and usually order out when in the mood so we’re very familiar with many variations of risotto. They should try other recipes. Other than that hands down wonderful and will definitely make it one of our to go places!

It was disappointing from the professional point of view that I called the restaurant to speak to the manager regarding job vacancy. I’ve got more than 24 years experience at Italian fine dinings and Michelin star restaurants in US as well as London, England. I also am an experienced bartender. The lady who answered the phone was really nice and helpful and connected me to a manager with Spanish accent. I was surprised that in a restaurant of this level such as Monzu, the least professional thing to do, especially for a manager of an establishment like this, to ask for a phone number, in case any openings happen in the future. But all he did was saying we don’t need anyone and hung up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

First time visiting Monzu. Our reservation started with 4, grew to 8 and at the last minute, added yet another. They were happy to accommodate even though TableAgent wouldn't let me add another. Food and service were both fantastic! Will be back for sure!

My wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary last night at Monzu. It was an incredible evening. They treated us like royalty and the food was amazing. We started with their charcuterie mega board for two which was the best cheese and meat appetizer we've ever had. I can't recommend this highly enough. My wife had their risotto which she really enjoyed. I had their Tagliatelle and it was amazing. I seriously consider Monzu the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. My wife says the same. We plan on going back again soon. Enjoy.

The food is absolutely delicious! Our Waitress Cheyenne was wonderful! She was one of the most friendly persons we have ever met, always smiling and extremely attentive to all our needs. She was a true professional! The service overall was outstanding from the entire staff! The Owner/Chef came to our table to introduce himself and ask if everything was fine. And, there was a Happy Anniversary card at our table when we arrived that was signed by the entire Staff! It was a very special experience for my Wife and myself on our 35th Anniversary! Thank you!
